NetFlix riding the bulls

Netflix released a teaser trailer for Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman” yesterday 31 July, offering an early glimpse of the “de-aging” visual effects that are used to allow the characters portray younger and older versions of themselves.The biographical film features Robert DeNiro as the titular character Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran, a labor union leader and alleged hit man for the Bufalino crime family. DeNiro is joined by Al Pacino, who plays union activist Jimmy Hoffa, the former head of the international Brotherhood of Teamsters, who vanished without a trace in 1975 aged 62.
