will nifty respect this trendline ?

This chart shows the nifty in daily timeframe. From 15600-18600 there was a bull run in a shown channel. since this channel is broken we have clearly seen a selling pressure from the market. The market is range bound (17700-18200 is the range for me). the question here is will this trendline act as a support or we can see another breakdown ( personally i feel the market will be green on monday)
