IDS Mop Example

The below example is the structure and development of the whipsaw MOP. The Break is the initial move lower, at stall the next move is higher. This will clean out stops of shorts that followed down. The buying and closing of stops (buy orders) generate the move up. The MOP is a channel that moves up and down cleaning out stops until it Breaks Out. The NAZ typically will move from MOP to MOP, trading the MOP or Break are the opportunities. When trading inside the MOP you can use multiple contracts and rack up points. I will update this post with examples as I identify MOP's.

The circles are O/N Long Rigs on low volume and the channel is for the period. O/N Rigs usually get cleaned out or tested in an Open Session eventually. Today's drop went through the previous days buy's, which were mostly generated in the O/N.
