The law of the negation of the negation is a concrete form of the law of the unity of opposites, that is, the law of the struggle of opposites and the resolution of their contradiction.
If some of my comrades went short from the Mean today - don't blame yourself. The mean is by nature very mean and I avoid entering there. I do get caught off guard a lot too.
