Musk is asking $54.20 to buy TWTR for $43 billion. $55.12 is TWTR 16 month average price. So he's only asking for a slight discount from the average market price by 92 cents / share. Obviously so it can include his lucky number (420) in it. If Musk is successful in part or whole, Twitter will most definitely exponentially gain market share from all other social media companies because he's a management & engineering legend. If Musk gives up and walks away from Twitter, the stock will tank below it's 16 month low, all the way down to it's 16 month down trend line at $25. I'm posting this as neutral because only time will tell how everything plays out.
