Gold fell after the bullish wave to retest the previous weekly resistance at 1960, forming a new lower high compared to the previous historical high, then the price dropped again to the middle of the descending channel again, so it is intuitive for the price to make sideways moves in the upcoming period before a strong rise to the top or continuation of the correction followed the bullish wave which started in October 2019.
