I believe you are about to witness what I have experienced firsthand and I've referenced several times in the past on here.
The shakeout that changes everybody's mind...
All long positions in alt/BTC pairs MUST get liquidated.
All stop-losses MUST be triggered.
All holders that are looking at this MUST experience PAIN and FEAR.
That feeling in your stomach that you get, when someone important dies or your girlfriend cheats on you...
That "world around me is crumbling" feeling.
Ok, so how did my favorite market makers accomplish this last time?
The finale ended with 2 days of -20% or more (each), on all alts, across all exchanges.
The algorithm does not stop selling, until there are no sellers left OR there are more buyers than sellers...
It's simple game theory, if you are in control, you continue to suppress the price, as long as you are gaining more of the asset, than you are losing.
Over a 7 day period, everything experienced at least a 50% loss.
(Except Monero, who has always proven exceptionally resilient to the pump and dumps, due to adoption, community and use by the dark web, but that's a whole other dissertation.)
My expectation on this for a long time was that this time would be different, but it doesn't make sense to change a working strategy.
Especially with an understanding of the fact that people do not learn. The players who lost to this last time are either gone, or have been trading unsuccessfully this whole time, so have little or no capital.
The players looking at the chart who are intelligent enough to understand that it is a case of "same player, same game" will expect them to use a different strategy. A different type of bottom.
Now obviously the short-term bottoming pattern probably won't be the same Adam & Eve on the 4H chart... But the bottoming sentiment WILL BE EXACTLY THE SAME.
All players will be convinced to short or get out to "buy back lower".
Wait PATIENTLY for momentum to stop.
One of my recent thoughts was that there are other market makers and highly intelligent people who write counter algorithms, which will be waiting for those signs.
High buy volume, after a solid V, with a "higher high" will be a good indicator of those players entering.
Example: If XRP dumps to 1500 sats, pumps to 2000 sats, dumps to 1800 sats, then pumps above 2000 sats, that would be the "higher high".
I'm expecting that the bottom will be higher than everyone's "support" targets. XRP, for example, has support set at its bottom on Dec 7th 2017, which is 1160ish sats.
If it breaks that, the next "support" is somewhere in the vicinity of 400 sats... Market makers love to surprise folks by blowing through support and resistance, because that's where the stop losses are.
Everyone told me resistance on BTC was 6k, 7k, 8k, 10k, 12k... etc... etc... etc... Ran all the way to 14k. All stops hit. All margins called. All shorts bailed. Only permabulls were left.
With good reason. Permabulls don't know how to take profits, so they really don't matter, where profit and loss are concerned. They'll die on the way back down.
That's a lot of text wall. Regards.
