I am sorry if you are disappointed about the channel, and you were probably expecting that longterm channel aiming over $1000 for XRP.
XRP is below some critical level and doesn't seem bullish to me at all.
If you are a Ripple bull then buying the breakout has a lot lower risk. Otherwise you can wait for 6-7 cents with me.
