The entire Defi coins have gone massive since the last dump but YFI is stuck just because of new tokens minting. 6,666 YFI tokens currently account for 22% of the supply. This was in line with what other platforms have done. Aave, for example, minted 23% when it migrated from LEND to AAVE.
Increasing the total supply by 22% is likely to have an negative impact on markets and YFI prices.
