EU approves Stora Enso's acquisition of De Jong Packaging

Finnish forestry group Stora Enso STEAV on Thursday said the European commission had approved its acquisition of Dutch company De Jong Packaging Group.

Stora announced the 1.02-billion euro deal in September and expects it to close during 2023.
