Bookmaker 888 posts revenue slightly ahead of its expectations

British bookmaker 888 8888 on Friday reported first quarter revenue slightly ahead of its expectations helped by strong customer volumes and said that it expects revenue to return to growth from the second quarter.

Revenue for the quarter ended on March 31 came in at 431 million pounds ($535.00 million), while it had expected it be in the range of 420 million pounds-430 million pounds.
