Session-based breakout & rejection indicator

42
The Range Session Signals indicator is designed for traders who want to identify high-probability breakout and rejection setups based on the high/low ranges of prior market sessions.
It automatically detects Tokyo, London, and New York sessions (Eastern Time) and maps each active trading session to the previous session’s high and low as reference levels.

How It Works
Session Mapping Logic
London Session trades off Tokyo’s high & low.
New York Session trades off London’s high & low.
Tokyo Session trades off New York’s high & low.
Two Signal Types
Breakouts: Full-body candle closes beyond the prior session’s range.
Rejections: Price wicks through the prior session’s high/low, then closes back inside.
Signal Display Modes
Labels — Wick-exact placement (“Buy (Break)”, “Sell (Reject)”, etc.) for precision backtesting.
Arrows — Compact, above/below-bar markers for clean charts during live trading.
Customizable Options
Enable/disable signals by session type.
Show signals only during the mapped session or throughout the day.
Adjustable arrow sizes.
Debug mode to display live context and reference levels.

Use Cases
Session Breakout Strategy: Take trades when price fully breaks prior session range.
Session Rejection Strategy: Fade moves that reject prior session highs/lows.
Scalping & Intraday Trading: Perfect for timing entries at key liquidity levels.
