AG Trailing Stop Loss

1 550
This is an indicator we have used extensively for a systematic way of trailing our stop loss, hence the name TSL - Trailing Stop Loss.

In a nutshell, it is based off Average True Range calculations.

We use it dynamically with the example of when markets are in high volatility, the SL should be trailed tighter to lock in more profit in case the volatility turns around and the market goes against our position. When markets are smooth sailing, e.g. no unusual volatility, the SL can be trailed at a "regular" distance. For longer-term trades or when you may expect the market to pullback but continue in the direction of your position, you can trail the SL using the "wide" setting.

All parameters are editable, but I would suggest leaving the defaults as they are. In this version, I have included 3 different styles of TSL that can be easily toggled on/off depending on which TSL setting you wish to see/use - close, regular, and/or wide.
