Quantized Rotation Factor Bars (QRF Bars)
A pure Auction Market Theory overlay. Non-cumulative rotation displayed as directional bar structure.
📊 Core Concept
QRF Bars use the Rotation Factor to track auction structure at the close of each subperiod (e.g. 30m, 1h).
Each bar reflects whether the auction is expanding upward, downward, or coiling — based on quantized TPO logic.
This is not a trend tool. It shows market effort in structural terms, period by period.

📊 Core Concept
QRF Bars use the Rotation Factor to track auction structure at the close of each subperiod (e.g. 30m, 1h).
Each bar reflects whether the auction is expanding upward, downward, or coiling — based on quantized TPO logic.
This is not a trend tool. It shows market effort in structural terms, period by period.
⚙️ How It Works
- Tick Quantization:
• Uses either a manual tick size or auto-calculated ticks-per-row
• Auto mode samples a defined number of bars (default: 300) to calculate typical TPO row size - Subperiod Rotation Factor:
On each new bar, the current high and low are quantized. Then compared to the previous bar's values:
• +2 = Higher High and Higher Low
• +1 = Higher High only
• 0 = Inside / Equal Range
• –1 = Lower Low only
• –2 = Lower High and Lower Low - Independent Logic:
Each bar evaluates structure in isolation. No accumulation or smoothing.
A true read on recent auction behaviour.

• Plotted directly on chart
• Body, wick, and border style vary depending on the rotation factor
• Strong moves show with vivid accents
• Neutral or zero-rotation bars display transparently - Directional Encoding:
• Expansion up/down is immediately visible in bar structure
• Inside bars fade out, highlighting compression or transition - Overlay Mode:
• Plots on price chart — integrates seamlessly with your existing strategy or structure
🔧 Inputs
- Manual Ticks per TPO Row: Optional fixed value. Use 0 to enable auto mode
- Auto Tick Sample Bars: Defines range for tick auto-calculation
