Liquidity Zones Pro

What it does
Liquidity Zones Pro automatically detects and maintains demand (potential support) and supply (potential resistance) areas across multiple timeframes. It tracks recent structure breaks, scores each zone, optionally reduces wide zones on a lower TF for precision entries, and colors candles by the macro trend so you trade in context.

Why this is original (not just a mashup)
This tool doesn’t simply merge indicators. It couples a structure-aware zone engine (pivot detection → break confirmation → origin candle selection) with a context module (volume qualification, follow-through impulse vs. average candle, originality/continuation flags) and a lifecycle manager (touch counting, extension, invalidation). The scoring and zone-reduction logic create actionable bands rather than naive rectangles, and the Supertrend layer is used strictly as a macro bias filter that gates zone visibility/interpretation—these components are designed to work together, not independently.

How it works (high-level, no proprietary math)

Map structure: find pivots on a chosen TF and watch for breaks of those pivots.

Anchor the zone: at the origin of the aggressive move (opposite candle cluster).

Qualify: compute a zone score from originality (first-touch), reversal/continuation, volume quality (vs. SMA), and post-zone impulse (relative to typical candle size).

Reduce (optional): on a smaller TF, shrink wide zones to a tighter execution band.

Maintain/age: extend boxes, count touches, and mark historical once price closes through the box.

Macro bias: color candles using a higher-TF Supertrend to keep trades aligned with the background trend.

How to use

Trade with the macro bias: demand in bull phases, supply in bear phases.

Prefer original zones with few touches and high score; enable reduction for tight stops.

Seek confluence: higher-TF zone overlap, strong volume, recent break in your direction.

A zone is invalidated when a candle closes through it; plan exits accordingly.

Inputs (key settings)

MACRO_TREND_TIMEFRAME: Supertrend context TF (e.g., 1D swing; 240/60 intraday).

ZONE_TIMEFRAME / PIVOT_TIMEFRAME: discovery TF and pivot TF (often equal).

SMALLER_ZONE_TIMEFRAME: lower TF for zone reduction (≈ ¼ of ZONE TF).

PIVOT_SENSIBILITY: higher = fewer, more significant pivots.

SMA_VOLUME_PERIOD / MIN_VOLUME_FILTER / HIGH_VOLUME_FILTER: volume qualification.

MIN_CANDLE_DIMENSION / CANDLE_SIZE_OFFSET: impulse vs. typical candle size.

INCLUDE_SECONDARY_ZONES / volume visibility toggles / MIN_SCORE_FOR_ZONES: filtering.

History toggles: show historical pivots/zones for context.

Suggested presets

Scalping: Trend TF 60, Zones TF 15–5, Reduction 1–5, Pivot 2–3, Min score 2–3.

Intraday: Trend TF 240, Zones TF 60, Reduction 15, Pivot 2–3, Min score 3.

Swing/Position: Trend TF 1D, Zones TF 240–1D, Reduction 60, Pivot 3–5, Min score 3–4.

Limitations & transparency

Avoid counter-trend unless the zone is reversal, original, high-volume with strong impulse.

Results vary by instrument/session; retune sensitivity/filters across markets.

No future leaks: the script does not look ahead; zones age only on closes.

This is not financial advice; test and risk-manage (fixed R, hard stops beyond reduced area).

Reuse & credits

Built from original logic specific to this tool. If any open-source snippets are used, authors are credited in code comments and the script is published open-source as required; otherwise, the code remains protected for the scoring/reduction internals.

Changelog
