A sparkline is a very small line chart, typically drawn without axes or coordinates (the presented implementation has coordinates). It presents the general shape of the variation (typically over time) in some measurement, in our case - market price, in a simple and highly condensed way. The approach has a long history and is widespread nowadays.
The main purpose is to be aware of the moves on specific instruments using only one lead chart as well as to save as much of a free working place on chart as possible.
