MACD Alignment Strategy: H1 + H4
This script highlights candles on the H1 chart with a colored background when there's full alignment between H1 and H4 based on the classic MACD (12,26,9) and EMA 200.
✅ Bullish background (green):
Price is above the EMA 200 on both H1 and H4
On both H1 and H4:
MACD line is above the Signal line
Histogram is green and above zero
MACD is above zero
❌ Bearish background (red):
Price is below the EMA 200 on both H1 and H4
On both H1 and H4:
MACD line is below the Signal line
Histogram is red and below zero
MACD is below zero
Use this tool to visually confirm trend alignment between timeframes and filter high-probability entries.
