ARVEX Div Ribbon v2.1

ARVEX Div Ribbon v2.1 is a trend-and-momentum visualizer that combines a slope-coded EMA ribbon with a rule-based RSI divergence scanner. It is built to help you read trend structure, spot momentum decoupling, and keep context clear directly on price.
This script is for charting and educational analysis. It does not provide financial advice.
⸻
What you see
• A 7-EMA ribbon stack (periods configurable) drawn on price
• Slope coloring per EMA:
• Blue = rising slope
• Purple = falling slope
• A brightness / transparency gradient so faster EMAs appear more prominent
• Divergence labels:
• Bull Div / Bear Div
• Optional A-Grade tags when stricter filters are met (see below)
• A compact HUD showing:
• EMA alignment count (e.g., “EMA Up 4/7”)
• RSI value
• Stochastic values (optional)
⸻
Trend structure (EMA ribbon)
Each EMA is colored independently by its slope. The stack alignment acts as a quick structure read:
• More EMAs rising → stronger bullish structure
• Mixed slopes → transition / mixed structure
• More EMAs falling → stronger bearish structure
⸻
Divergence engine (rule-based)
The divergence module scans price pivots and compares them to RSI pivots using defined rules:
• Bullish divergence: price makes a lower low while RSI makes a higher low
• Bearish divergence: price makes a higher high while RSI makes a lower high
Divergences are plotted only when the script’s pivot/confirmation rules are satisfied (close-of-bar logic depending on settings).
⸻
“A-Grade” option (stricter filter)
If enabled, the script can label a subset of divergences as A-Grade when additional conditions are met (example filters):
• RSI level thresholds (e.g., oversold/overbought zones)
• Minimum ribbon alignment requirements (e.g., X of 7 slopes aligned)
This is intended to reduce clutter and highlight only the strictest divergence conditions per the script rules.
⸻
Optional HTF trend filter
You can enable a higher-timeframe filter to restrict divergence labels to those that meet your chosen HTF trend condition (helps reduce signals in mixed/choppy environments).
⸻
Typical use
• Reading trend structure at a glance (ribbon alignment)
• Flagging potential exhaustion via RSI divergence
• Adding a context layer alongside your own execution model
⸻
Notes / Disclaimer
Divergence is not a guarantee of reversal. Outputs are rule-based and depend on timeframe, volatility, and settings. Always manage risk.
