HOD/LOD/PMH/PML/PDH/PDL Strategy by @tradingbauhaus This script is a trading strategy @tradingbauhaus designed to trade based on key price levels, such as the High of Day (HOD), Low of Day (LOD), Premarket High (PMH), Premarket Low (PML), Previous Day High (PDH), and Previous Day Low (PDL). Below, I’ll explain in detail what the script does:
Core Functionality of the Script:
Calculates Key Price Levels:
HOD (High of Day): The highest price of the current day.
LOD (Low of Day): The lowest price of the current day.
PMH (Premarket High): The highest price during the premarket session (before the market opens).
PML (Premarket Low): The lowest price during the premarket session.
PDH (Previous Day High): The highest price of the previous day.
PDL (Previous Day Low): The lowest price of the previous day.
Draws Horizontal Lines on the Chart:
Plots horizontal lines on the chart for each key level (HOD, LOD, PMH, PML, PDH, PDL) with specific colors for easy visual identification.
Defines Entry and Exit Rules:
Long Entry (Buy): If the price crosses above the PMH (Premarket High) or the PDH (Previous Day High).
Short Entry (Sell): If the price crosses below the PML (Premarket Low) or the PDL (Previous Day Low).
Long Exit: If the price reaches the HOD (High of Day) during a long position.
Short Exit: If the price reaches the LOD (Low of Day) during a short position.
How the Script Works Step by Step:
Calculates Key Levels:
Uses the request.security function to fetch the HOD and LOD of the current day, as well as the highs and lows of the previous day (PDH and PDL).
Calculates the PMH and PML during the premarket session (before 9:30 AM).
Plots Levels on the Chart:
Uses the plot function to draw horizontal lines on the chart representing the key levels (HOD, LOD, PMH, PML, PDH, PDL).
Each level has a specific color for easy identification:
HOD: White.
LOD: Purple.
PDH: Orange.
PDL: Blue.
PMH: Green.
PML: Red.
Defines Trading Rules:
Uses conditions with ta.crossover and ta.crossunder to detect when the price crosses key levels.
Long Entry: If the price crosses above the PMH or PDH, a long position (buy) is opened.
Short Entry: If the price crosses below the PML or PDL, a short position (sell) is opened.
Long Exit: If the price reaches the HOD during a long position, the position is closed.
Short Exit: If the price reaches the LOD during a short position, the position is closed.
Executes Orders Automatically:
Uses the strategy.entry and strategy.close functions to open and close positions automatically based on the defined rules.
Advantages of This Strategy:
Based on Key Levels: Uses important price levels that often act as support and resistance.
Easy to Visualize: Horizontal lines on the chart make it easy to identify levels.
Automated: Entries and exits are executed automatically based on the defined rules.
Limitations of This Strategy:
Dependent on Volatility: Works best in markets with significant price movements.
False Crosses: There may be false crosses that generate incorrect signals.
No Advanced Risk Management: Does not include dynamic stop-loss or take-profit mechanisms.
How to Improve the Strategy:
Add Stop-Loss and Take-Profit: To limit losses and lock in profits.
Filter Signals with Indicators: Use RSI, MACD, or other indicators to confirm signals.
Optimize Levels: Adjust key levels based on the asset’s behavior.
In summary, this script is a trading strategy that operates based on key price levels, such as HOD, LOD, PMH, PML, PDH, and PDL. It is useful for traders who want to trade based on significant support and resistance levels.

Divergence Indicator Multi [TradingFinder] MACD AO RSI DIV Chart🔵 Introduction
🟣 What is Divergence in Financial Markets?
Divergence in technical analysis happens when the price of a stock moves in a direction opposite to certain indicators. This is a crucial concept in financial markets as it can signal either a trend reversal or a continuation of the current correction in the trend. Understanding divergence helps traders and analysts make more informed decisions.
🟣 Positive Regular Divergence (RD+)
A positive regular divergence occurs at the end of a downtrend, where two price lows form. This divergence appears when the price chart shows a new low, but the indicator does not follow, signaling potential buying opportunities.
Positive divergence indicates increased buying pressure and reduced selling pressure, making it a useful signal for forecasting price increases.
🟣 Negative Regular Divergence (RD-)
A negative regular divergence is seen during an uptrend when two price highs form. The price chart records a new high, but the indicator does not reflect this change, suggesting that a market downturn is likely.
This type of divergence shows strong selling pressure and weaker buying activity, which can help identify selling opportunities.
Both positive and negative divergences are powerful tools for identifying potential trend reversals and key support and resistance levels. For example, when an indicator trends upward while the price moves downward, this creates divergence, warning traders to reconsider their investment strategy.
🟣 Different Types of Divergence in Trading
1. Regular Divergence :
o Positive Regular Divergence (RD+)
o Negative Regular Divergence (RD-)
2. Hidden Divergence :
o Positive Hidden Divergence (HD+)
o Negative Hidden Divergence (HD-)
3.Time Divergence.
Note : This guide focuses specifically on Regular Divergence.
🟣 What is Regular Divergence?
Regular Divergence, often referred to as convergence, occurs when price action and indicators show conflicting patterns, usually signaling the end of a trend. Detecting regular divergence helps traders anticipate potential trend reversals or the formation of reversal patterns.
🔵 How to Use
To optimize the detection of divergence, you can adjust the Fractal Period to specify the length of time for identifying divergence patterns.
Additionally, with the Divergence Detection Method, you can select oscillators like the MACD, RSI, or AO to base divergence detection on.
Divergence in MACD :
MACD divergence occurs when the price chart forms an opposite pattern compared to the MACD line, indicating a potential price reversal.
Divergence in RSI :
In a downtrend, if the price chart forms two consecutive lows with the second lower than the first, but the RSI shows two lows with the second higher, this indicates positive regular divergence, which is a buy signal.
On the other hand, during an uptrend, if the price forms two highs with the second higher than the first, but the RSI shows the second high lower, this points to negative regular divergence, indicating a sell signal.
Divergence in AO (Awesome Oscillator) :
The AO indicator calculates histograms using the difference between 5-period and 34-period simple moving averages. It compares peaks and troughs of these histograms with price movements, detecting divergence and plotting lines and arrows to signal divergence.
🔵 Table
The following table breaks down the main features of the oscillator. It covers four critical categories: Exist, Consecutive, Divergence Quality, and Change Phase Indicator.
Exist : If divergence is detected, a "+" will appear in this row.
Consecutive: Shows the number of consecutive divergences that have formed in a short period.
Divergence Quality : Evaluates the quality of the divergence based on the number of occurrences. One is labeled "Normal," two are "Good," and three or more are considered "Strong."
Change Phase Indicator : If a phase change is detected between two oscillation peaks, this is marked in the table.
Divergence Detector [TradingFinder] RSI + MACD + AO Oscillator 🔵 Introduction
🟣 Understanding Divergence
As mentioned, divergence occurs in technical analysis when a stock's price behaves contrary to indicators on the price chart. Divergence can signify either a reversal of the stock's trend or a continuation of the previous trend correction.
Divergences can act as reversal patterns or continuation patterns. Moreover, divergences can be utilized to identify potential support and resistance levels.
For instance, when an indicator is trending upwards and positive, but the price is declining and trending downwards, divergence occurs. Divergence in a stock indicates trader indecision in buying and selling and warns traders to reconsider their decisions regarding buying or holding the stock.
Divergence aids analysts in identifying critical price points. In indicator divergences, it serves as a potent signal in the realm of technical analysis.
🟣 Types of Divergence
1.Regular Divergence
o Positive Regular Divergence (RD+)
o Negative Regular Divergence (RD-)
2.Hidden Divergence
o Positive Hidden Divergence (HD+)
o Negative Hidden Divergence (HD-)
3.Time Divergence
Key Note : This indicator is specifically designed to identify "Regular Divergence" only. Therefore, the following explanation pertains to this type of divergence.
🔵 Regular Divergence/Convergence
Regular Divergence(Convergence) occurs due to conflicting behavior between the indicator and the price chart, typically at the end of a trend. Recognizing Regular Divergence suggests an anticipation of a trend reversal or a pattern resembling a reversal.
🟣 Positive Regular Divergence (RD+)
In contrast to negative divergence, positive Regular Divergence occurs at the end of a downtrend and between two price lows. It manifests when the price forms a new low on the price chart, but the indicator fails to recognize it.
Positive Regular Divergence indicates strong buying pressure and weak selling pressure. Following the identification of positive divergence on the chart, one can anticipate a price increase for the examined stock.
🟣 Negative Regular Divergence (RD-)
This type of Regular Divergence emerges between two price highs during an uptrend. A new high is formed on the price chart, but the indicator fails to acknowledge it. This scenario indicates negative Regular Divergence.
The likelihood of a subsequent market downturn is high. Negative divergence signifies strong selling pressure and weak buying pressure, suggesting an unfavorable future for the stock.
🔵 How to use
By utilizing the "Fractal Period" input, you can specify your desired periods for identifying divergences.
Additionally, through the "Divergence Detect Method" feature, you can choose which oscillators (MACD, RSI, or AO) to base divergence identification on.
Divergence in MACD Oscillator :
Divergence in the MACD indicator occurs when the price chart and the MACD line form a noticeable opposing pattern, meaning the price moves contrary to the MACD line. In this scenario, one expects a reversal in price direction.
Divergence in RSI Oscillator :
If divergence occurs during a downtrend on the price chart (two consecutive lows, with the second low being lower) and on the corresponding RSI point (two consecutive lows, with the second low being higher), it signifies positive Regular Divergence and implies a buying signal.
Conversely, if divergence occurs during an uptrend on the price chart (two consecutive highs, with the second high being higher) and on the corresponding RSI point (two consecutive highs, with the second high being lower), it indicates negative Regular Divergence, signaling a selling opportunity.
Divergence in AO Oscillator :
The AO indicator calculates histograms similar to the AO base. It calculates the difference between the simple moving averages of 5 and 34 periods based on the median of each bar. Then, it plots the bars based on the difference.
It then compares the histograms to detect peaks and troughs in the AO histograms and compares the identified peaks and troughs to the price. Whenever divergence is detected, it plots lines and arrows.
🔵 Table
The table contains information on the functional features of this oscillator that you can utilize. Four categories of information are presented in the table: "Exist," "Consecutive," "Divergence Quality," and "Change Phase Indicator."
Exist :
If divergence exists, you'll see "+" in this row.
Consecutive :
Divergences may occur consecutively. If same-type divergences form within short intervals, you can observe the count in this row.
Divergence Quality : Based on the number of consecutive divergences, their quality can be evaluated. If one divergence exists, its quality is considered "Normal." If two divergences exist, the quality is "Good," and if three or more divergences exist, the quality is considered "Strong."
Change Phase Indicator : If a phase change occurs between two oscillation peaks formed based on divergence, this change is identified and displayed in this row.
MACD Crossover with +/- FilterThis is to directly target when MACD crosses the Signal line. The purpose of this script is to target a +/- change of 3 in the MACD value after the most recent cross. It uses the value of the MACD line and holds it until a value of 3.00 + or - a crossover or crossunder happens. That's the significance of the red and green circles that appear on the chart. This is not financial advice, but I wanted to recreate what a friend of mine was doing manually and automate it for him.
The first circle that appears after MACD/SIGNAL lines cross would represent a potential trade idea. The circles after the first one match the intention of the first dot as they meet the condition of more than a value of -3 or +3 as the previous dot.

🟧 Usage
Lune Oscillator's features are designed to be both standalone tools and components of a larger, integrated trading strategy. It is important to understand each feature and experiment with different configurations to best suit your unique trading needs.
🔸 Example #1: The following demonstrates how the Oscillator Copilot can be an excellent trade assistant.
The Oscillator Copilot leverages multiple Lune Oscillator features, allowing traders to quickly assess overall market sentiment. It uses Smart Bias and Reversal Radar tools to deliver these insights. For instance, at point 1, a bullish Smart Bias (denoted by a green circle) represents a collective bullish sentiment from multiple components of Lune Oscillator, often leading to a price increase. Conversely, at point 2, we identify two bearish reversal signals from the Reversal Radar (highlighted by red triangles). This convergence of bearish signals from multiple components hints at a potential market reversal, often followed by a gradual price decline.
🔸 Example #2: This example shows how the Market Peak feature can aid in detecting potential market tops and bottoms.
Market Peak calculates how overbought or oversold a ticker is using a percentile system, offering insights into potential reversals. At points 1 and 2, we observe bearish Market Peaks suggesting overbought conditions and indicating a possible shift in trend. Subsequent to these peaks, we witness a price drop, mirroring the overbought market conditions. In contrast, at point 3, a bullish Market Peak suggests an oversold market, indicating a potential trend reversal and subsequent price increase.
🔸 Example #3: This is an example of how combining various features such as the Money Pulse, Liquidity Pulse, Institutional Wave, and Market Peak, can help make more informed trades.
Money Pulse and Liquidity Pulse provide insights into the money and liquidity flow in the market, respectively, while the Institutional Wave monitors the cumulative volume shifts and changes. Together with Market Peak, they offer a comprehensive view of the market's state.
At point 1, the positive Liquidity Wave (crossing above 0) suggests a bullish market volume. At point 2, a bullish Market Pressure indicates an increase in buying pressure, reinforcing the bullish sentiment. At point 3, a negative Liquidity Wave (crossing below 0) indicates a bearish sentiment, suggesting that market participants are exiting their positions. The concurrent Market Pressure hints at an increase in selling activity. Taking all these factors into account provides a strong indicator that the market sentiment has turned bearish.

Moving Average Contrarian IndicatorThis indicator is designed to identify potential turning points in the market. By measuring the distance between the price and a moving average, and normalizing it, the MACI provides valuable insights into market sentiment and potential reversals. In this article, we will explore the calculation, interpretation, and practical applications of the MACI, along with its potential limitations.
The MACI is calculated in several steps. First, a moving average is computed using a user-defined length, representing the average price over the specified period. The distance between the current price and the moving average is then determined. This distance is normalized using the highest and lowest distances observed within the chosen length, resulting in a value between 0 and 100. Higher MACI values indicate that the price is relatively far from the moving average, potentially signaling an overextension, while lower values suggest price consolidation or convergence with the moving average.
Altering the parameters of the Moving Average Contrarian Indicator can provide traders with additional flexibility and adaptability to suit different market conditions and trading styles. By adjusting the length parameter, traders can customize the sensitivity of the indicator to price movements. A shorter length may result in more frequent and responsive signals, which can be useful for short-term traders aiming to capture quick price reversals. On the other hand, a longer length may provide smoother signals, suited for traders who prefer to focus on longer-term trends and are less concerned with minor fluctuations. Experimenting with different parameter values allows traders to fine-tune the indicator to align with their preferred trading timeframes and risk tolerance. However, it is essential to strike a balance and avoid excessive parameter adjustments that may lead to over-optimization or curve fitting. Regular evaluation and optimization based on historical data and real-time market observations can help identify the most suitable parameter values for optimal performance.
The coloration of the Moving Average Contrarian Indicator provides visual cues that assist traders in interpreting its signals. The background color, set based on the indicator's values, adds an additional layer of context to the chart. When the indicator is indicating bullish conditions, the background color is set to lime, suggesting a favorable environment for long positions. Conversely, when the indicator signals bearish conditions, the background color is set to fuchsia, indicating a potential advantage for short positions. In neutral or transitional periods, the background color is set to yellow, indicating caution and the absence of a clear bias.
The bar color complements the histogram and provides additional visual clarity. When the MACI value is greater than the MACI SMA value and exceeds the threshold of 30, the bars are colored lime, signaling potential bullish conditions. Conversely, when the MACI value is below the MACI SMA value and falls below the threshold of 70, the bars are colored fuchsia, indicating potential bearish conditions. For values that fall between these thresholds, the bars are colored yellow, highlighting a neutral or transitional state.
Practical Uses and Strategies:
The MACI offers traders and analysts valuable insights into market dynamics and potential reversal points. When the MACI is above its moving average and above a predefined threshold (e.g., 30), it suggests that prices have deviated significantly from the average and may be overbought. This could serve as an early indication for potential short-selling opportunities or taking profits on existing long positions. Conversely, when the MACI is below its moving average and below a predefined threshold (e.g., 70), it suggests oversold conditions, potentially signaling a buying opportunity. Traders can combine MACI with other technical indicators or price patterns to further refine their trading strategies.
The MACI can be a powerful tool for identifying potential market reversals. When the MACI reaches extreme levels, such as above 70 or below 30, it indicates overbought or oversold conditions, respectively. Traders can use these signals to anticipate price reversals and adjust their trading strategies accordingly. For example, when the MACI enters the overbought zone, traders may consider initiating short positions or tightening stop-loss levels on existing long positions. Conversely, when the MACI enters the oversold zone, it may indicate a buying opportunity, prompting traders to consider initiating long positions or loosening stop-loss levels.
The MACI can also be used in conjunction with price action to identify potential divergence patterns. Divergence occurs when the MACI and price move in opposite directions. For instance, if the price is making higher highs while the MACI is making lower highs, it suggests a bearish divergence, indicating a potential trend reversal. Conversely, if the price is making lower lows while the MACI is making higher lows, it suggests a bullish divergence, signaling a potential trend reversal to the upside. Traders can use these divergence patterns as additional confirmation signals when making trading decisions.
Limitations:
-- Sideways and Choppy Markets : The MACI performs best in trending markets where price movements are more pronounced. In sideways or choppy markets with limited directional bias, the MACI may generate false signals or provide less reliable indications. Traders should exercise caution when relying solely on the MACI in such market conditions and consider incorporating additional analysis techniques or filters to confirm potential signals.
-- Lagging Indicator : The MACI is a lagging indicator, as it relies on moving averages and historical price data. It may not provide timely signals for very short-term trading or capturing rapid price movements. Traders should be aware that there may be a delay between the occurrence of a signal and its confirmation by the MACI.
-- False Signals : Like any technical indicator, the MACI is not immune to false signals. It is essential to use the MACI in conjunction with other technical indicators, chart patterns, or fundamental analysis to increase the probability of accurate predictions. Combining multiple confirmation signals can help filter out false signals and enhance the overall reliability of trading decisions.
-- Market Conditions : It's important to consider that the effectiveness of the MACI may vary across different markets and asset classes. Each market has its own characteristics, and what works well in one market may not work as effectively in another. Traders should evaluate the performance of the MACI within their specific trading environment and adapt their strategies accordingly.
This indicator can be a valuable addition to a trader's toolkit, offering insights into potential entry and exit points. However, it should be used in conjunction with other analysis techniques and should not be relied upon as a standalone trading signal. Understanding its calculation, interpreting its values, and considering its limitations will empower traders to make more informed decisions in their pursuit of trading success.

ENGLISH
============
- Description:
This script is a modification of the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) of Thomas Aspray, and called as MACD-AS and you may get earlier signals than MACD.
On this (my version) you have several extra elements and customization.
Foremost (of course) you have the MACD-AS, which is the HISTOGRAM, also, it has a SIGNAL line (which smooths the MACD-AS), and finally, a higher timeframe oscillator based on one of the previous values (custom).
- Visuals, features, customization:
You can show/hide any of the components with a checkbox (MACD-AS, Signal and HTF Oscillator).
The timeframe for the higher timeframe oscillator is customizable, but by default is automatic and multiplies the chart timeframe by 3: 5m > 15m, 15m > 45m etc.
So we have the MACD-AS as a histogram, with 2 optional color schemes and custom transparency, it works similar to the original MACD, oscillating around the 0 level. Green colors (bull) if above 0, red (bear) below 0.
Smoothed MACD-AS makes the Signal line, going up (bull) shows green color, down (bear) red, changes from one to another also prints a colored dot. There's another feature which darkens the color when the momentum is losing strength, a strength filter input is available for that purpose but the default 0.5 works well.
The higher timeframe oscillator (it's called "oscillator" because you can pick if you want to show the MACD-AS or Signal line of the higher timeframe), is always shown as a line, colors work similar to the Signal line, but BLUE for bull and PINK for bear.
Finally, the background color just changes from green (bull) to red (bear) and vice versa if the Signal line is above or below the 0 line to show bull/bear trend too, this is slower than other indicator signals as well.
- Usage and recommendations:
You can use this script as default MACD, the difference is that you'll use the DOTs of the Signal line (when changing green to red and vice versa) as crossovers on the classic MACD.
You can also use the higher timeframe oscillator as a trend filter to not to trade against it, ex: if the HTF is bull, don't try to SHORT.
My favorite usage is to find DIVERGENCES with the MACD-AS (histogram) with the HTF MACD-AS histogram as well, having 2 confirmations, ex: 5m divergence + 15m divergence.
As always, suggestions are welcome.
Enjoy!

Jerry J8 MACD Optimal Entry Zone---- STRATEGY
This MACD indicator includes an optimal entry zone for entering your trades and works with any symbol in any time frame. The optimal entry zone is defined by user controlled inputs for up to 10 symbols and is pre-loaded with the SPY, IWM, QQQ, NDX, and TESLA for the 3 minute time frame. Additionally, you can add up to 5 more symbols and adjust the optimal entry zones for each signal.
The optimal entry zone is the range above and below the MACD zero line where the highest probability trades can be entered. Too far above or below the zero line and the move is more likely to be exhausted or premature. This is not an exact science and you will want to set the zone for each symbol on the chart time frame you trade.
The reason this indicator is so helpful is because the optimal entry zone changes for every symbol and for every time frame and this indicator automatically shows these zones for up to 10 stock symbols.
---- SETUP & HINTS
There are times when the MACD may be outside of the optimal range but due to other factors (for example, high volume or market moving news) I would choose to enter a trade.

Hello Traders from all over the world! Today I would like to share a cool customizing tool our team recently has made. If you have ever used MACD or any other seemingly indicators that visualize the degree of converging/diverging of any two values, you are very lucky today. This one should be one of the most optimal tools for you guys that enables you to customize your own CD indicator perfectly fitted for your trading styles. Moreover, you can even set up optimized parameters for each different trading commodities or products.
There is no doubt that MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) is one of the most popular indicators currently in trading world along with RSI and Stochastic. Google and old textbooks say that MACD is a technical indicator that helps you identify market trends and potential trend reversal point. Well, which existing indicators doesn’t? The problem is, how well the indicator reflects the market trends with least amount of lagging. We want to use an indicator that can provide best-fitted trend data as early as possible.
Anyway, this indicator is made of 3 different components: MACD line, a signal line, and an oscillator, which is usually plotted with histogram. MACD line is basically the level of difference between two EMAs, 12 and 26 (default settings). In other words, MACD Line visualizes the amount of gap between 12 and 26 EMA.
- When bullish, 12 EMA would be above 26 EMA and as the trend becomes more bullish, they will diverge more and MACD line would be positive (above the base line).
- When bearish, 12 EMA would be below 26 EMA and as the trend becomes more bearish, they will diverge more and MACD line would be negative (below the base line).
MACD Line = (Faster, sensitive) EMA – (Slower, dull) EMA = 12 EMA – 26 EMA
Then you add another EMA on the MACD line itself which then becomes a signal line. The default length of the signal line is 9. In other words, Signal line is a 9 EMA of the difference level between 26 and 12 EMA. Now the difference between Signal line and MACD line are called oscillator usually plotted with histograms.
- When MACD line is above the Signal Line, histogram would face upward (Positive Side)
- When MACD line is below the Signal Line, histogram would face downward (Negative Side)
Signal Line = 9 EMA of MACD Line
Two meaningful signals should be monitored to effectively spot the trend reversal point.
1. Pay attention to the crossover made by the two lines. Higher the golden-cross and the lower the death-cross is located, more weights added on the possibility of trend reverse. I personally ignore most of the crossovers signaled near the base line.
2. Search for the histogram peak outs. When two lines start to converge (heading towards each other), histogram will leave a significant peak and approach towards baseline meaning that the oscillator started to lose its strength.
Remember, both the signals (lines’ crossovers and histogram peak outs) are more reliable and meaningful as they are located farther away from the baseline.
As mentioned, the default parameters for MACD are 12, 26, and 9. The first two numbers are the lengths of prices’ moving averages that are used to compute MACD line. 9 is length of signal line. Furthermore, the types of moving averages and signal line used in this setting provided by Tradingview are EMAs (Exponential moving averages). Therefore, the proper way to express the default setting of MACD would be 12, 26, 9, EMA, EMA.
I have a question for you MACD users. How is MACD doing lately? Are you fully satisfied with the performance? Some might say yes, but most wouldn’t. Well, I personally believe that the default parameters are bit outdated. It surely was a powerful weapon 50 years ago when MACD was just created by Gerald Appel and only few knew how to use it. Things are different now. We have witnessed so many cases where everyone starts to all use the same types and parameters of indicators, techniques, and theories which eventually drops accuracy and preciseness. Come on, we are not living in fairy tales, instead in an extremely competitive world called capitalism where only a few survives.
As we are already aware, this market keeps changing over time. Encountering various patterns, price actions, wave structures, and trend flows that are unfamiliar and untraditional, traders easily get frustrated. Market is not like it used to be in the old days where trading was much easier. What worked yesterday doesn’t anymore work today and not even tomorrow. Such evidences we see every day are broadening channel, stoploss hunting, Bart Simpson, whipsaw, and bull/bear trap were once considered as rare phenomenon.
I_MACD might be useful tool for you to back/forward test to find the optimized types and parameters of the CD indicator just fitted for your unique trading styles and preferences. There are infinite number of combinations of types and parameters within this indicator you can try. For example, not only the lengths of the moving averages, but different types of technical indicators to compute the CD lines can also be tested. Try all the possible combinations of parameters and if you find a good one, please share it with us on the comment section below! I will also let you guys know if I do. In fact, the default settings, ohlc4, 60, 140, 30 EMA, EMA, are one of many that I have found useful.
Furthermore, for your convenience when testing, we added a few side features as listed below. You can turn these on and off according to your preferences and circumstances.
1. Crossovers of MACD and Signal line: Death-crosses above the baseline and golden-crosses below the baseline will be spotted with a vertical line.
2. Divergence Sensitivity: This feature finds out both the regular and hidden divergences of MACD line. Higher sensitivity searches for the divergences within the waves of the larger degree and vice versa for the lower sensitivity.
3. Histogram Peak out: Triangle signals will appear when oscillator peak outs are possibility assumed in advance. Similarly, as the first feature positive peak outs are searched only when MACD line is positive and vice versa for the negative peak outs.
We all know there is no ‘Perfect’ method in this industry other than becoming Elon Musk, but there surely are ‘Better’ methods. Contemporary traders should track and reflect trends of the latest market on developing their methods. In order to process that task, testing and experimenting new and different techniques through insightful ways is required. I_MACD might be the ‘Perfect’ tool for you to be a ‘Better’ trader. Thanks for reading.

이름하여 I_MACD!
Converging Pullbacks and PeaksMulti Timeframe Converging Lines Indicator. Using the highest/lowest Values at 2 different lengths. Convergence created by taking the highest/lowest value and subtracting/adding the # of barssince the highest/lowest bar was set multiplied by the price multiplied by the float. Curves are created from averaging out the emas of the center lines of the extremeties.
Helps show trendlines automatically most of the time but can be tweaked by changing the floats or Fast/Slow lengths to you liking.
Squeeze Index [LuxAlgo]The Squeeze Index aims to measure the action of price being squeezed, and is expressed as a percentage, with higher values suggesting prices are subject to a higher degree of compression.
Settings
Convergence Factor: Convergence factor of exponential envelopes.
Length: Period of the indicator.
Src: Source input of the indicator.
Usage
Prices being squeezed refer to the action of price being compressed within a tightening area. Prices in a tight area logically indicate a period of stationarity, price breaking out of this area will generally indicate the trader whether to buy or sell depending on the breakout direction.
The convergence factor and length settings both play an important role in the returned indicator values. A convergence factor greater than the period value will detect more squeezed prices area, while a period greater than the convergence will return fewer detected squeezed areas.
We recommend using a convergence factor equal to the period setting or a convergence factor twice as high.
The above chart makes use of a convergence factor of 100 and a period of 10.
Due to the calculation method, it is possible to see retracements being interpreted as price squeezing. This effect can be emphasized with higher convergence factor values.
Details
In order to measure the effect of price being squeezed in a tighter area we refer to damping, where the oscillations amplitude of a system decrease over time. If the envelopes of a damped system can be estimated, then getting the difference between the upper and lower extremity of these envelopes would return a decreasing series of values.
This approach is used here. First the difference between the exponential envelopes extremities is obtained, the logarithm of this difference if obtained due to the extremities converging exponentially toward their input.
We then use the correlation oscillator to get a scaled measurement.
RSI mid partition color changeWhen RSI is above 50 our default bias is on buy side and when below 50 our bias is on sell side.
Therefore created 2 zones for easy identification.
Price Convergence DivergenceSimple Price convergence divergence. Current close minus past or in other words lagging price.
MultiTimeFrame Stochastic
Multi Time Frame Stochastic
Fast, medium, slow and Too slow stochastic of current time frame and higher time frame for creating view for buying or selling
How to use
1. For Divergence - price making higher high but stochastic making lower high or vice versa
2. choosing strategy - whether buy the dips or sell on rise
3. deciding whether downtrend or uptrend is over or not - higher time frame stochastic comes from over brought to oversold
High Probablity Buy trade
Higher time frame stoch oversold and divergence seen in chart and stoch and lower low forming stopped in chart and stoch
High Probablity sell trade
Higher time frame stoch overbought and divergence seen in chart and stoch and higher high stopped in chart and stoch
caution : it only go to 0 to 100 so some time it is overbought for long time the fall or vice versa, use it with other confirmation like price action or candlestick pattern
if you like the work

Accumulation Distribution Volume Oscillator (ADVO) [JoseMetal]============
ENGLISH
============
- Description:
This indicator has 2 features (currently):
It shows the net volume in a histogram (buy volume in the upper part, sell volume in the bottom part).
Also calculates the difference between accumulation / distribution in a fast vs slow period to plot 2 moving averages and trigger crossovers.
It has an option to ignore the wicks, which sometimes makes it more accurate.
- Visual:
So first of all is the net volume, in the upper part of the histogram the buy volume is printed in green, if the volume keeps going up the histogram bars gets lighter, darker if the volume goes down.
Similarly, we have the sell volume in the bottom part, in red, it also gets lighter if the sell volume increases, and otherwise it gets darker.
And then we have 2 lines, one for the fast and other for the slow period, both shows the DIFFERENCE of the accumulation vs distribution, which can gives us clues about how the market is heading.
The background color changes depending on the status and crossovers:
Fast moving average crossovers the slow = GREEN, if the opposite happens = RED.
The rest of the time it depends on the position of the moving averages and if the fast is above or below the 0 line:
GREEN: FAST > SLOW and FAST > 0
OLIVE: FAST > SLOW but FAST < 0
RED: FAST < SLOW and FAST < 0
ORANGE: FAST < SLOW but FAST > 0
- Usage and recommendations:
Depending on the timeframe, the default 12 and 26 periods (fast / slow) are good, but i noticed that checking lower timeframes with higher settings it gives a better direction of the higher timeframe, example: you want to trade in 1h, but you check the 5 min timeframe with 25 / 100 periods.
That's because the smaller timeframe gives you a more "realistic" volume, more "detailed" volume I'd say.
In fact, in the real testings, I took a wonderful short by checking the 1 minute timeframe with 50 and 200 periods to decide if the 4h was making an accumulation or distribution.
Finally, there's an option to ignore wicks for the moving averages, sometimes it shows better results because ignoring volume within the wicks gives faster results, but I recommend checking both with and without.
- Customization:
So almost everything is customizable, colors, periods... there's an option for the histogram color scheme, but you can change every single color if you want.
You can also pick the moving average type, sometimes WMA is better, but I got better results with the EMA (which is the default).

Smarter MACD BandThe Smarter MACD displayed as a band instead of an oscillator. A classic MACD with average peak and dip lines. The lighter green and red horizontal lines are the average peak and dip of the entire span, respectively. The second, bolder of the two lines are the averages of the peaks and dips above and below the overall peak and dip averages. The filled in color is to help visualize these averages and possible trade setups.
Market SniperWelcome to Market Sniper!
This indicator attempts to catch market tops and bottoms based on the market being extremely extended in its respectful direction. It combines a Triple Stochastic RSI as well as MACD convergences to strengthen the signal. A standard RSI can also be shown if needed.
Highlighted green means that you are moving towards a potential bottom.
Highlighted red means that you are moving towards a potential top.
An arrow will signify that the direction of momentum has changed.
If you see the same colored bar below the highlighted area, price is converging; strengthening the original signal.
This indicator is extremely user-configurable. Just take a look at the settings as they are self explanatory.
[UPRIGHT Trading] Super Sar & (New) Sar Moving Averages (cc)Hello Traders,
(This is an original creation and a proof of concept.)
As most of you know the PSAR, parabolic SAR indicator, was developed by J. Welles Wilder Jr. and used to determine trend direction and potential reversals in price. This technical indicator uses a trailing stop and reverse method, 'SAR,' or "stop and reverse," to find potential exit and entry points.
My question was: Is it possible to create meaningful Moving Averages by using PSAR?
Turns out, the answer is yes.
As you can see on the above chart, not only is it possible, it does work.
Features:
I've created buy/sell signals, which act as early indication of a potential reversal.
5 original MAs.
My Super Sar
Customizability: For now, the ability to adjust the length and turn on/off the MAs (maybe more features to come).
Enjoy!
As always, please: Like, Follow, Support, etc...
Cheers,
Mike

Divergence Energy Pro (DE Pro) MI05Divergence Energy Pro acts as an trend & volatility indicator calculated by combination of Moving Average data.
The Green bar indicates bullish energy, while the Red bar indicates bearish energy.
The length of the colour (red/green) bar indicates the energy's strength/momentum.
When the fisrt or second Green bar above the Zero Axis 💚 and MA line represents a strong bullish energy,
whereas the first or second Red bar below the Zero Axis ❤️ and MA line represents a strong bearish energy.
Apart from tracking the bullish/bearish trend in the market, it may be used to monitor the divergence/convergence between price and technical indicator.
Divergence occurs when the price moves in the opposite direction of a technical indicator, potentially leading a price shift.

Median Convergence DivergenceIntroduction
The Median Convergence Divergence (MCD) is a derivative of the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). The difference is the change in the use of the measure of central tendency. In MACD, moving average (mean) is used, whereas, in MCD, the median is used instead. The purpose of using the median is to eliminate the outlying values, which would be calculated for a moving average. The outliers would affect the value of the moving average.
For example: 3, 5, 7, 8, 5, 4, 2, 1, 6, 21, 8. The data set average is 6.3, whereas the median value is 5. There is a difference of about 23% in the example. The reason is the outlying value '21' in the data set.
As the markets are volatile, outlying values can always emerge. A moving average will consider those values; on the other hand, the median will ignore. If the strategy calls for a tool to ignore the outliers, the Median Convergence Divergence would be a great centered oscillator.
The default values have changed to suit the current trading days in a week. When the MACD was introduced, there would be six trading days in a week. Therefore, it used 12 (2 weeks), 26(4 weeks), and 9 ( 1.5 weeks). But now that there are five trading days per week. The default values are adapted to them. Feel free to change them as per your wish.
Recommended Settings
The current settings are set to be used for the Daily Time Frame: 5 day period for the fast line, a 20 day period for the slow line, and a 10 day period for the signal line. (5 days represent a trading week, 10 days is two weeks, and 20 days is 4 weeks or a month)
For the weekly charts, use 4 week period for the fast line, 13 week period for the slow line, and 8 week period for the signal line. (4 weeks represent a month, 8 weeks is two months, and 13 weeks is 3 months or quarterly)
And for monthly charts, use 3 month period for the fast line, 12 month period for the slow line, and 6 month period for the signal line. (3 months is quarterly, 6 months is bi-yearly, and 12 month is yearly)
It'll be challenging to measure for intraday since there are many different timeframes within intraday. The settings mentioned above should also be customized as per the requirements of the trading strategy.
Strategy
The strategy application is the same as the MACD, i.e., Signal Line Crossovers, Zero Line Crossovers, and Divergence.

● The speed of crossovers is also taken as a signal of a market is overbought or oversold.
● MACD helps traders to understand whether the bullish or bearish movement in the price is strengthening or weakening.

It helps to understand if the movement is bullish or bearish , if it is getting stronger or weaker.
