Btc can stop trending at any time. Price actually hitting the resistance highlighted in the chart isn't a guaranteed thing, though it will act as a significant pivot. Most likely price will be rejected off of the 1.25 standard deviation of the longest over expanded period (which at this time is the 530 period.)

If price DOES go over that pivot, price will revert fully to the 530 moving average with very high probability.
