Retail investors as moving averages

I had the thought to look at moving averages from a psychological perspective of who they represent and at which points and where people are looking and whatnot.

Essentially, this is a message for new investors like myself on what I view as the most basic of common pitfalls amongst new investors/traders.

Particularly, I believe it is that most people believe they can enter the space of markets as traders without any investment experience firsthand and beat the market, as well as a general unwillingness to accept the level of risks being taken for what they are, and to consider that risk a step in a long line of lessons.
