BTC broke down from the respected trendline on the hourly

BTC broke down from the respected trendline that was formed on the 11 Nov on the hourly time frame. Could this be a bear trap? BTC still setting higher low though. Now for the bearish scenario i would anticipate more downside to come as on the daily chart we have a large falling wedge pattern. Im looking at 16438.74 for a relief bounce. if that plays out.
