July showed little deviation. The final reading of 38.8 (in line with forecasts) confirmed additional weaknesses in the manufacturing sector, a trend that is also persisting across Europe. The manufacturing PMI print for the euro zone declined from 43.4 to 42.7.
Following the release of the final manufacturing data for July, the EUR/USD is trending lower. Bulls attempted to counter the bearish move around 1.1012, but it seems they have been overwhelmed by the prevailing bearish sentiment.
My goal is 1.09480
