➡️ The British pound was under slight selling pressure against the US dollar after the US federal appeals court temporarily halted the decision of the Federal Trade Commission to block most of President Donald Trump’s tariffs.
➡️ However, market expectations of a measured policy expansion cycle by the Bank of England (BoE), along with progress in finalizing trade agreements with Washington, Delhi, and Brussels, helped support the UK currency. Meanwhile, the U.S. Dollar remained under pressure amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding Trump’s tariff policies.
Personal opinion:
➡️ The court’s decisions need more time to evaluate. GBP/USD will remain within the trend line and await the US PCE news. this will be the focus of today
➡️ Analysis based on support resistance levels and EMA combined with trend lines to come up with a suitable strategy
