I think LTC could break out of this 7 year consolidation.
The market is definitely changing in terms of participants and I'm just thinking about it from the new participants (ETF) perspective
Bitcoin is high
Bitcoin = GOLD (in their eyes)
Litcoin is Low
Litecoin = Silver (in their eyes)
LTC is fundamentally the same, just with a 4x higher supply, so it could be easy to make an ETF in terms of regulation.
Right now the LTC/BTC ratio is .001340 which is close to it's all time low (the market it valuing Litecoin less and less vs Bitcoin) which makes this even more risky. I'm just looking at price action and basically gambling that it's bottoming here. If the market made sense the LTC/BTC ratio would be .25 but that will never happen (that would be ~19000% from here). If LTC went to 1000 at current prices the LTCBTC ratio would be 0.01449275, which is much more realistic.
It's a 10x from here which is low probability but not impossible. The current market cap is 6.5 billion, meanwhile BTC is seeing multi-billion dollar inflows every week from the ETF... LTC is going up I'm just not sure how much.
In terms of USD, I think any dips to 75-81$ are buys and just hold for the long term.
