The company said it expects third quarter earnings of $2.32 to $252 per share on revenue of $2.95 billion to $3.15 billion. The current consensus earnings estimate is $2.18 per share on revenue of $2.89 billion for the quarter ending July 31, 2022.

Looks like Wallstreet shorted TGT with a collar strategy into earnings and sitting on hands on the bid side because sell volume on the ask side was not above average.

TGT back to October 2020 stock price when November 2020 earnings were 22.63B revenue & EPS 2.79 so this price action does make logical sense.

CSCO down -13%. Cisco Systems Reports In-line. (CSCO) reported Q3 April 2022 earnings of $0.87 per share on revenue of $12.8 billion. The consensus earnings estimate was $0.86 per share on revenue of $13.3 billion. Revenue grew 0.2% on a year-over-year basis.

The company said it expects fourth quarter non-GAAP earnings of $0.76 to $0.84 per share on revenue of $12.41 billion to $13.00 billion. The current consensus earnings estimate is $0.93 per share on revenue of $13.89 billion for the quarter ending July 31, 2022.
