The MACD trending and cross overs of the trend may pose an excellent buy and sell signal. We broke the MACD trend to the downside about a three weeks ago. After the drop it rallied up to the trend line and then dropped again. Although a short rally is possible up to the earning release, new short positions may be taken when the MACD touches back up to the previous Green up trend line. Interestingly, the date corresponding to cross section of the up and down trends coincides with the earnings.
