Spot gold was unchanged at $3,020.87 an ounce by 0026 GMT. US gold futures were flat at $3,025.10.

US consumer confidence fell to its lowest level in more than four years in March as households worried about a future recession and rising inflation due to tariffs.

Focus is now on the potential reciprocal tariffs the US administration could impose on April 2, causing some market jitters.
