Gold Analysis - Short Term Possibility

Short-Term View (4H Chart):
Gold recently faced significant resistance around the 2030 zone .Despite technical and fundamental indicators pointing a downward break, bullish sentiment was driven by geopolitical events triggering a break above the 2030 zone. This break was short lived however, as price retraced back under the 2030 zone. The failure to push even further above 2041 led to a reversal, indicating a continuation of the long-term downward trend observed since December 28, 2023.

Technical Analysis:

Gold's recent movement has confirmed a downward trend, with the latest push to 2041 only briefly touching the upper channel band of my regression analysis before reversing.
Regression analysis on the 4-hour chart suggests a sustained downward movement since late December 2023.
Given these indicators, a short-term target of 2016 seems plausible, with a stop loss set at 2033 to manage risk.

Long-Term View:
Looking ahead, the broader trend suggests further downside potential. With the recent failure to reach significant resistance levels, such as 2055, the path of least resistance appears to favor the bears.

Potential Trade Setup:

Short Entry: Sell Gold at current market price (under 2030)
Target: 2016
Stop Loss: 2033
Risk/Reward Ratio: Favorable, with potential for profit as Gold continues its downward trajectory.
