Institutional Volume Flow [BigBeluga]🔵 OVERVIEW
Institutional Volume Flow is a higher-timeframe segmented developing volume profile tool designed to reveal where institutional participation is building inside active price ranges.
Instead of plotting static session profiles, this indicator dynamically tracks the developing High, Low, Midpoint, and Point of Control (POC) for each selected higher-timeframe segment (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly).
It allows traders to visualize where volume is accumulating in real time - and where dominant positioning is forming before the segment closes.
The result is a structural + volume hybrid framework that exposes institutional footprints inside expanding ranges.
🔵 CORE CONCEPT
HTF Segmentation - The chart is divided into higher-timeframe segments (D/W/M). Each new segment starts a fresh developing volume profile.
Developing Range Logic - High and Low levels continuously update during the segment, defining the active institutional range.
Volume Distribution Mapping - All traded volume inside the segment is distributed across price bins to build a live volume profile.
Rolling Point of Control - The price level with the highest accumulated volume is recalculated every bar.
Institutional Bias Detection - Background coloring adapts depending on whether price is trading above or below the segment midpoint.
🔵 HOW IT WORKS
1️⃣ Segment Detection
A new segment begins whenever the selected higher timeframe changes.
All volume and price calculations reset at the start of a new segment.
Previous segments are frozen and preserved on the chart for historical reference.
2️⃣ Developing High / Low Structure
The highest high and lowest low inside the current segment update dynamically.
A midpoint (average of High and Low) is calculated to represent internal balance.
These levels extend forward visually for clarity.
3️⃣ Volume Profile Construction
The price range is divided into user-defined bins (Volume Profile Bins).
Each bar’s volume is assigned to the corresponding price bin.
Volume accumulates throughout the segment.
Box width represents relative volume intensity at that level.
The strongest node becomes the Point of Control (POC) .
Rolling Point of Control - The price level with the highest accumulated volume is recalculated every bar during Segment developing.
4️⃣ Developing vs Frozen Profiles
The active segment shows a developing profile that updates in real time.
When a new segment begins, the completed profile is frozen.
This allows comparison between current positioning and previous institutional distributions.
5️⃣ Volume Spike Detection (Z-Score)
A 50-bar rolling mean and standard deviation are used.
When volume significantly exceeds normal distribution, the range fill intensifies.
This highlights abnormal participation inside the active range.
🔵 KEY FEATURES
Higher-timeframe segmentation (Daily / Weekly / Monthly).
Developing High, Low, and Midpoint levels.
Bias-based profile coloring : green above midpoint, blue below midpoint.
Real-time rolling Point of Control.
Customizable number of volume bins for precision.
Adjustable profile width for clear visualization.
Frozen historical profiles for structural context (with preserved bias color).
Z-score volume spike detection.
Institutional range bias shading at segment start/end.
🔵 HOW TO USE
Watch where price interacts with the developing POC — this often signals value acceptance or rejection.
Use the segment midpoint to gauge balance vs imbalance.
Treat green profiles as bullish-leaning segments (close above mid) and blue profiles as bearish-leaning segments (close below mid).
Observe whether volume builds near highs or lows — this can indicate accumulation or distribution.
Monitor frozen prior segments to identify high-volume memory zones.
Use volume spikes to detect aggressive participation inside developing ranges.
Combine with liquidity tools or order blocks for confirmation.
🔵 INTERPRETING INSTITUTIONAL FLOW
Expanding range + rising POC → value shifting.
Contracting range + stable POC → consolidation.
Heavy volume near extremes → potential absorption.
POC migration during trend → institutional repositioning.
🔵 CONCLUSION
Institutional Volume Flow transforms higher-timeframe segmentation into a live institutional positioning map.
By combining structural range development with rolling volume profiling and abnormal volume detection, it provides traders with a powerful way to understand where participation is building - not just where price is moving.
It is especially effective for identifying accumulation, distribution, and value shifts before a higher-timeframe candle closes. 指標

Daily 12/21 EMA OverlayDaily 12/21 EMA Overlay
This indicator projects the daily 12 and 21 EMAs onto any timeframe as a soft, semi-transparent band. It is designed to give a constant higher-timeframe bias and dynamic support/resistance reference while you execute your systems on lower timeframes (4H, 1H, 15m, etc.).
The script uses request.security() to calculate the 12/21 EMAs on the daily chart only, then overlays those values on your current timeframe without recalculating them locally. This means the band always represents the true daily 12/21 EMAs, regardless of the chart you are viewing.
Key Features:
Fixed daily 12/21 EMA band, visible on all timeframes
Faded lines and fill to keep focus on your active intraday tools
Simple, minimal inputs (fast length, slow length, colors, band visibility)
Ideal as a higher-timeframe “backdrop” for systems built around EMA trend, rejections, or liquidity sweeps
How to Use
Add the indicator on any symbol and timeframe
Keep your normal intraday EMAs (e.g., EMA 12/21) for execution
Note: You can change the bands to not just be 12 or 21, you can change them if needed for your own systems or emas that you use.
This tool is intentionally lightweight: it does one job—showing the true daily EMA structure across all timeframes—and leaves trade execution logic to your primary system. 指標

Higher Time Frame Strat [QuantVue]The Higher Time Frame Strat Indicator is a tool that helps traders visualize and analyze price action from a higher timeframe (HTF) on their current chart. It applies the Strat method, a trading strategy focused on identifying key price action setups by observing how current price bars relate to previous ones. This helps in understanding the market's structure and determining potential trading opportunities based on higher timeframe data.
Key Concepts:
Strat Basics:
Type 1 Bar (Inside Bar): The current bar's high is lower than the previous bar's high, and its low is higher than the previous bar's low. This signifies a consolidation, or indecision, as the price is contained within the previous bar's range.
Type 2 Bar (Directional Bar): The current bar either breaks above the previous bar's high (bullish) or stays above the previous bar's low (bearish), indicating a continuation in the price direction.
Type 3 Bar (Outside Bar): The current bar breaks both above the previous bar's high and below the previous bar's low, showing volatility and a potential reversal.
Higher Timeframe Visualization:
The indicator uses a user-defined higher timeframe (default: 1 hour) and plots the last three higher timeframe candles on the current chart.
Strat Classification:
When a new higher timeframe candle forms, the indicator draws a semi-transparent box around the candle's range (high to low), along with the Strat type label. This provides a visual cue to the trader about the structure of the newly formed candle and how it fits into the overall market movement.
The script classifies each higher timeframe candle as one of the Strat types (1, 2, or 3). Based on the relationship between the current candle and the previous candle's high/low, it assigns a label ("1", "2", or "3"), helping traders quickly identify the price action setup on the higher timeframe.
How to Use the Indicator:
Trend Continuation: Look for Type 2 bars, which indicate a continuation in the current trend. For example, a Type 2 up suggests the price is breaking above the previous high, potentially signaling further upward movement.
Reversals: Type 3 bars show increased volatility, where the price breaks both above and below the previous bar's range. This could indicate a reversal, so be prepared for a potential change in direction.
Consolidation: Inside bars (Type 1) signify a tightening range and can signal the beginning of a breakout once the price moves outside of the previous bar's high or low.
By combining these price action concepts with the visualization of higher timeframe data, traders can potentially get earlier entry and exits as a higher timeframe set up forms. 指標

Hourly Trading System (Zeiierman)█ Overview
The Hourly Trading System (Zeiierman) is designed to enhance your trading by highlighting critical price levels and trends on an hourly basis. This indicator plots the open prices of hourly and 4-hour candles, visualizes retests, displays average price lines, and overlays higher timeframe candlesticks. It is particularly beneficial for intraday traders seeking to capitalize on short-term price movements and volume patterns.
█ How It Works
This indicator works by plotting significant price levels and zones based on hourly and 4-hour candle opens. It also includes functionalities for identifying retests of these levels, calculating and displaying average prices, and showing high and low labels for each hour.
█ Timeframe
The Hourly Trading System is designed to be used on the 1-minute or 5-minute timeframe. This system is tailored for intraday trading, allowing traders to find optimal entries around hourly opening levels and providing an easy method to identify the hourly trend. It works effectively on any market.
█ How to Use
Trend Analysis
Quickly gauge where the current price stands relative to key hourly and 4-hour levels. The plotted lines and zones serve as potential support and resistance areas, helping traders identify crucial points for entry or exit.
Utilize the 1-hour average and higher timeframe candles to understand the overall market trend. Aligning intraday strategies with larger trends can enhance trading decisions.
Use the bar coloring to quickly gauge the 1-hour trend on a lower timeframe. The bar colors indicate whether the hourly trend is bullish (green) or bearish (red), helping traders make quicker decisions in alignment with the overall trend.
Retest Identification
Enable retest signals to see where the price retested the hourly open levels. These retest points often signal strong price reactions, offering opportunities for trades based on support/resistance flips.
One effective strategy to incorporate is looking for price flips when a new hour starts. This approach involves monitoring price action at the beginning of each hour. If the price breaks and retests the hourly open level with strong momentum, it could indicate a potential trend reversal or continuation. This strategy is effective in volatile markets where price movements are significant at the start of each new hour.
Liquidity Sweep Strategy
Another common and effective strategy is the liquidity sweep. This involves identifying key levels where liquidity is likely to accumulate, such as previous hour highs and lows, and observing how the price interacts with these price levels. When the price sweeps through these levels, triggering stop-loss orders or pending orders, it often results in a sharp price movement followed by a reversal. Traders can capitalize on these movements by entering trades in the direction of the reversal once the liquidity sweep has occurred.
Equal Highs and Lows Strategy
The Equal Highs and Lows strategy leverages the concept of identifying levels where the price forms multiple highs or lows at the same level over different hourly periods. These equal highs and lows often indicate strong support or resistance levels where liquidity is accumulated. When the price approaches these levels, it is likely to trigger stop-loss orders and lead to significant price movements. Traders can look for breakouts or reversals around these levels to enter trades with higher probability setups.

Higher Timeframe Trend Indicator V3.0What is it?
An indicator that depicts the trend of up to 5 higher timeframes on the same chart without needing to context-switch between charts.
Features
- Supports up to 5 timeframes
- Trends indicated by 5 colored buttons: one for each timeframe
- Varying shades of green: uptrend
- Varying shades of red: downtrend
- White/silver: sideways/neutral
- Configurable length (time period) for each timeframe
- Increase length to capture long term trends; decrease it to capture only short term ones
- Configurable sensitivity for each timeframe
- Sensitivity determines what angle is considered trending and what is not
- Increase sensitivity to capture weak trends
- Decrease sensitivity to filter out weak trends and capture only strong/steep ones
- Sensitivity ranges from 1 (least sensitive) to 3 (most sensitive)
- Move the labels around vertically for better visibility by changing the "Location" and "Offset" parameters
How should one use it?
Use it to quickly browse through charts to understand the context across timeframes, and zero in on only those that have trends aligning on the higher and lower timeframes as per your strategy. For e.g., a chart that is trending up strongly on the 15min and 60min (indicated by dark green colored buttons), and trending down on the 1 and/or 5 min (indicated by red-colored buttons), can be shortlisted for a potential pullback trade. Use your favorite pullback strategy (Supply/Demand, Support/Resistance, Moving Averages, etc.) to hop in on the trend.
How are trends determined?
The indicator uses normalized %change in price of the linear regression line segment of the chosen price sources (close, high, low, MA, etc.) over a specified length to determine trend direction and intensity
Known Issues
Will indicate the trend correctly only for timeframes *higher* than the current (visible) resolution/timeframe of the chart. Might not indicate it correctly for lower timeframes ( i.e., lower than the current (visible) resolution/timeframe of the chart). For this reason, all timeframes lower than the current resolution will be hidden in the present release.
Future releases
- I am still experimenting with various sensitivity levels and the corresponding trend shades to make the tool as accurate and intuitive as possible. These modifications might come in
- Sensitivity levels might be increased.
- Bug fixes, if any
