Correlation StrategyThis is strategy determines a level (expressed in a scale from 1 to 100) of correlation
between security A (user defined) and security B (used on the chart) closing prices. If the correlation
is less than the user defined threshold, a buy signal will be possible. To determine the direction
of the trade we can choose between a Simple Moving Average or a Relative Strength Index indicator,
both with user defined lengths.
WFA Explained
This strategy includes a simple Walk Forward Optimisation, which is a technique used to evaluate the robustness
of the strategy, simulating a live trading environment where the future (the "out-of-sample" period) is not visible yet. The "in-sample" period is where you should optimise the values of the Strategy Inputs that match the ones in the WFA section. Default period value is 1 (or 1/3 of all the candles in the chart).
After optimising the first period, the "All" period can be chosen to evaluate the results of
our "in-sample" optimisation in an "out-of-sample" period (="All"-"1"). It is also possible (and recommended) to optimise
each period (1 and 2) independently and then replace the corresponding values in the WFA section of the inputs panel.
The WFA input is used to make those values effective in their corresponding periods.

[VJ]Thor for MFIThis is a simple intraday strategy for working on Stocks or commodities . You can modify the start time and end time based on your timezones. Session value should be from market start to the time you want to square-off
Important: The end time should be at least 2 minutes before the intraday square-off time set by your broker

Indicators used :
Moving average (MA) is a widely used technical indicator that smooths out price trends by filtering out the “noise” from random short-term price fluctuations. Here moving averages are used to identify trend direction and to determine support and resistance levels. Overbought and oversold regions are also taken into consideration
The Money Flow Index ( MFI ) is a momentum indicator that measures the flow of money into and out of a security over a specified period of time. It is related to the Relative Strength Index ( RSI ) but incorporates volume , whereas the RSI only considers price. The MFI is calculated by accumulating positive and negative Money Flow values (see Money Flow ), then creating a Money Ratio. The Money Ratio is then normalized into the MFI oscillator form.
Using the combination of Overbought and Oversold values and varying MFI and using the MA filter to ensure the direction , we can buy/sell when conditions are met
Buying with MFI
1. MFI drops below 20 and enters inside oversold zone.
2. MFI bounces back above 20.
3. MFI pulls back but remains above 20.
4. A MFI break out above its previous high is a good buy signal.
Selling with MFI
1. MFI rises above 80 and enters inside overbought zone.
2. MFI drops back below 80.
3. MFI rises slightly but remains below 80.
4. MFI drops lower than its previous low is a signal to short sell or profit booking
Usage & Best setting :
Choose a good volatile stock and a time frame - 5m.
MFI factor : 3
Moving Average : 80
Overbought & Oversold - can be varied as per user
There is stop loss and take profit that can be used to optimise your trade
The template also includes daily square off based on your time.
Money Flow Index 5 min Strategy1 - Apply the 3 period Money Flow Index indicator to the 5 minute chart, using 0 and 100 as our oversold and overbought boundaries
2 - Wait for the MFI to reach overbought levels, that indicates the presence of "big sharks" in the market. Price needs to hold up
the first two MFI overbought occurrences of the day to be considered as a bullish entry signal.*
3 - We buy when the MFI = 100 and the next candle is a bullish candle with short wicks.
4 - We place our Stop Loss below the low of the trading day and we Take Profit during the first 60 minutes after taking the trade.
The logic above can be used in a mirrored fashion to take short entries, this is a custom parameter that can be modified from
the strategy Inputs panel.
* I'm using a SMA filter to avoid buying when the price is declining. Time frame was better at 15 min according to my test.
Inside Bar Strategy w/ SL"Inside bars are a two -bar pattern. They can indicate either a continuation of the
existing move or a reversal. A continuation occurs when there is no significant
support or resistance level in sight, while a reversal occurs close to a strong sup-
port or resistance level...
...A lot of traders are aware of inside bars but few manage to make money with
them. Why is this so? It goes back to interpreting price action. A lot of traders look
to trade in geometric ways. What I mean is that they search for fancy shapes on a
chart and think that this is what represents true price action.
This is not the case. A shape is just a shape. The formation by itself means
nothing unless underlying order flow backs it up. This is why it’s extremely
important that you look for inside bars when a trend is already in place.
The best place to look for them is in the beginning of trends."
SMA StrategySMA Strategy for going long or short when a short sma crosses a long sma. This script was published by CaptJava. I added to it the ability to select a back testing date range and choose to go long, short or swap orders. You can enter automated trading buy and sell messages in the properties and then put {{strategy.order.alert_message}} in your webhook alert message and it will dynamically populate your buy or sell message.
Stochastic RSI + WMA + SMA strat// "...an entry signal it's a cross down or up on

// on the hourly time frame you
// must also be in a downtrend on the five

// as long as the five period is still trading below
// the 144 period on both the hourly and the five minutes

// Works well with a wide stop with 20 bars lookback
// for the SL level and a 2:1 reward ratio Take Profit .
// These parameters can be modified in the Inputs section of the strategy panel.
4 MA Strategy + Position Management// This is a simple crossover Moving Average strategy, good for long term crypto trades.
// It buys when the MA "X" crosses up the MA "Y", viceversa for shorts.
// Both MAs are selectable from the Inputs section in the front panel.
// There is also a Position Management option thats
// sizes positions to have the same USD risk (using leverage) on each trade,
// based on the percentage distance to the stop loss level.
// If you turn this option on you will see how the profit
// grows exponentially while the drawdown percentage almost remains the same.

Moving Average - IntradayMoving Average Intraday Strategy
Basic moving average strategy purpose built for intraday trading. It uses two simple moving averages & takes a positions on crossover.
Position is reversed when signal changes by using double quantity. Once the intraday session is over & if the position is open; it is squared off.
Users can define intraday session during which the strategy will run.
Parameters:
Intraday Session - Defines the duration for which the strategy should execute.
Short Term Moving Average Period
Long Term Moving Average Period

Excitement - Crypto Surfer v1For those of us who need more excitement in our crypto journey besides just HODL, here’s a simple crypto robot that trades on the hourly (1H) candles. I call it the Crypto Surfer because it uses the 20 and 40 EMAs (Exponential Moving Averages) to decide when to enter and exit; price tends to “surf” above these EMAs when it is bullish, and “sink” below these EMAs when it is bearish. An additional 160 SMA (Simple Moving Average) with slope-angle detection, was added as a bull / bear filter to reduce the sting of drawdowns, by filtering-out long trades in a prolonged bear market.
USER NOTES:
- This script will buy $10,000 USD worth of crypto-currency per trade.
- It will only open one trade at a time.
- It has been backtested on all the high market cap coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, Polkadot, Cardano.
- It should be run on the Hourly (H1) chart.
- In general, this moving average strategy *should be* profitable for 80% to 90% of the coins out there
- The 160 SMA filter with slope angle detection is designed to stop you from going long in a bear market.
- It is recommended you copy this script and modify it to suit your preferred coin during backtesting, before running live.
- Trading is inherently risky (exciting), and I shall not be liable for any losses you incur, even if these losses are due to sampling bias.
Scalping using RSI 2 indicator with TSLThis strategy implements a simply scalping using the RSI (calculated on two periods), the slopes of two MAs ( EMA or SMA ) having different lengths (by default, I use 50 and 200).
A trailing stop loss (%) is used.
Entry conditions:
.) Fast MA > Slow MA and Price > Slow MA and RSI < Oversold Threshold ------> go Long
.) Fast MA < Slow MA and Price < Slow MA and RSI > Overbought Threshold ------> go Short
Exit conditions:
.) Long entry condition is true and (close >= TP or close <= TSL ) ----> close short position
.) Short entry condition is true and (close <= TP or close >= TSL ) ----> close long position
The strategy performed best on Bitcoin and the most liquid and capitalized Altcoins but works excellent on volatile assets, mainly if they often go trending.
Works best on 3h - 4h time frame.
There's also an optional Volatility filter, which opens the position only if the difference between the two slopes is more than a specific value, which can be set in the study inputs. The purpose is not opening positions if the price goes sideways and the noise is way > than the signal.
Note:
.) the RSI length is 2;
.) the oversold Threshold is 90%;
.) the overbought Threshold is 10%;
.) by default, the trailing stop loss per cent is 1%;
.) by default, the fast MA length is 50;
.) by default, the slow MA length is 200;
.) by default, the MA used is EMA.
Cheers.
Equal-Length EMA/SMA Crossover Momentum StrategyOverview:
This momentum and trend-following strategy captures the majority of any trending move, and works well on high timeframes.
It uses an equal-period EMA and SMA crossover to detect trend acceleration/deceleration, since an EMA places a greater weight and significance on the most recent data.
This version is optimized for longs, and designed to cut your losses quickly and let your winners run.
To reduce noise and optimize entries, we combined this with an overall trend bias for further confluence.
How it works:
Signals are determined by the crossover of an EMA and SMA of the same length, e.g. EMA-50 and SMA-50.
The overall trend bias is determined using a slower SMA golden/death cross, e.g. SMA-50 and SMA-100.
The signal is stronger when it occurs in confluence with the overall trend bias, e.g. when EMA-50 crosses over SMA-50, while above the SMA-100. This is analogous to only opening long positions in a bull market.
Signal description:
Trend Buy: EMA crosses above SMA, and overall trend bias is bullish. Buying is in confluence with the overall trend bias.
Risky Buy: EMA crosses above SMA, and overall trend bias is bearish. Buying is early, more risky, and not in confluence with the overall trend bias.
Late Buy: SMA crosses above BIAS_SLOW. This gives further confirmation of bullish trend, but signal comes later.
Sell: EMA crosses under SMA.
Strategy entry and exit conditions:
This version enters a Long when "TREND BUY" is signalled.
This version has Sell/Shorts disabled because UP ONLY.
Long entry: Strategy enters Long when EMA is above SMA, while overall trend bias is bullish.
Long exit: Close long when EMA crosses under SMA.
Triple SMA Strategy with entries based on sma price closesHi! :)
This strategy is made for intraday trades, especially on 5 sec - 5 min charts to follow the trend.
I have not tested on higher timeframes, but feel free to play with the values.
I have set a basic value for the 3 SMA at
-200
-400
-600
We will use an oscillator for entries which is not mine. Link ->
The oscillator mentioned above is just for visualization purposes, You do not need to get the signals, but You can see how scripts are generated with different values.
When the price above/below all the 3 SMA and oscillator crosses above/below "value you set" - You will get the buy or sell signal.
Your stop will be where the slowest SMA is.
Pyramiding is set for 10.
You can manually set 3 take profit and quantity levels.
Basic values are 1 %, 2 %, and 6 % for taking profits - You can change it based on how volatile the asset is.
Basic quantity values are 30 % at each level.
Hope You find it useful :)

Combined EMA & MA crossovers [CDI]Implementation of the strategy of moving averages crossings combining two fast and two slow that are used to confirm the entry.
The purpose is to be able to quickly see a backtesting of the strategy by easily configuring the profit / loss percentage. In this script the profit percentage is used for the loss percentage as well.
Additionally you can see the moving averages all in a single chart tool.
In the community to which I belong, this strategy is used in daily candles, especially for swing trading, but it can be used in different time frames.

BTC and ETH Long strategy - version 2I wrote my first article in May 2020. See below
BTC and ETH Long strategy - version1
After 6 months, it is now time to check the result of my script for the last 6 months.
XBTUSD (4H): 14/05/2020 --> 22/11/2020 = +78% in 4 trades
ETHXBT (4H): 14/05/2020 --> 22/11/2020 = +21% in 9 trades
ETHUSD (4H): 14/05/2020 --> 22/11/2020 = +90% in 6 trades
Using the signals from this strategy to trade manually has shown that this was a bit frustrating because of the low rate of winning trades.
If you have to enter 100 trades and see 75% of them failing and 25% winning, this is frustrating. For sure the strategy makes good money but it is difficult to hold this mentality.
So, I have reviewed and modified it to get a higher winning rate.
After few days of work, tests and validation, I managed to get a wining rate close to 60%.
The key element was also to decrease the number of trades by using a higher time frame. (4H candles instead of 2H candles).
- Entry in position is based on
MACD, EMA (20), SMA (100), SMA (200) moving up
AND EMA (20) > SMA (100)
AND SMA (100) > SMA (200)
- Exit the position if: Stoploss is reached OR EMA (20) crossUnder SMA (100)
The goal of this new script is to be able to follow the signals manually and only make few trades per years.
I have also validated it against some other altcoins where some are giving very good results.
Here are some results for 2020 (from 01/01/2020 until now (22/11/2020). Those results are the one I get when using 4H candles.
ETH/USD: +144% in 8 trades.
BTC/USD: +120% in 7 trades.
ETH/BTC: +33% in 9 trades.
ICX/USD: +123% in 10 trades.
LINK/USD: +155% in 11 trades.
MLN/USD: +388% in 8 trades.
ADA/USD: +180% in 7 trades.
LINK/BTC: +97% in 10 trades.
The best is that above results are without considering compound effect. If you re-invest all gains done in each new trade, this will give you the below results :)
ETH/USD: +189% in 8 trades.
BTC/USD: +260% in 7 trades.
ETH/BTC: +29% in 9 trades.
ICX/USD: +112% in 10 trades.
LINK/USD: +222% in 11 trades.
MLN/USD: +793% in 8 trades.
ADA/USD: +319% in 7 trades.
LINK/BTC: +103% in 10 trades.
As you can see, the results are good and the number of trades for 11 months is not big, which allows the trader to place orders manually.
But still, I'm lazy :), so, I have also coded this strategy in HaasScript language which allows you to automate this strategy using the HaasOnline software specialized in automated crypto trading.
I hope that this strategy will give you ideas or will be the starting point for your own strategy.
Let me know if you need more details.
[Strategy] Simple Golden CrossSimple Golden Cross Strategy.
Works best on a daily chart on "Blue Chip" cryptos such as BTC, ETH, and LTC.
Entry Signal:
-50 day moving average crosses over the 100 day moving average.
Exit Signal:
-50 day moving average crosses under the 100 day moving average.
-Daily candle closes under the 100 day moving average (support).
-100 day moving average crosses under the 200 day moving average.
Higher High / Lower Low StrategyThis is a very simple trend following strategy for Day Trading. The premise is to follow the Moving Average for the trend direction and buy/sell the dips and blips in the trend.
1. In an uptrend, when the candle action offers a "dip", or a lower high, the strategy will then buy on the close of the candle that breaks the high of the previous candle.
2. In a downtrend, when the candle action offers a"blip", or a higher low, the strategy will then sell on the close of the candle that breaks the low of the previous candle.
3. The strategy will go Long only or Short only, not both. It must be manually reversed in the settings when a new trend is established.
4. The start month and year allow you to backtest from then until now. It's not one month at a time.
5. The strategy uses a reversal of the Stochastic %K variable as the exist. The setting for Period K controls the exit for backtesting purposes.
6. The strategy uses a moving average to determine the trend. The setting for the Period MA controls the SMA.
7. The strategy has the option of filtering the number of trades based on the direction of the MACD and/or the Signal line. This can either reduce or increase the probability, and is highly dependent on the price action of the instrument.

Simple and efficient MACD crypto strategy with risk managementToday I am glad to bring you another great creation suited for crypto markets.
MARKET
Its a simple and efficient strategy, designed for crypto markets( btcusd , btcusdt and so on), and suited for for higher time charts : like 1hour, 4hours, 1 day and so on.
Preferably to use 1h time charts.
COMPONENTS
MACD with simple moving average
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
For entries we have :
We check the direction with MACD . Depending if its an uptrend and positive level on histogram of MACD we go long, otherwise we go short.
RISK MANAGEMENT
In this strategy we use a stop loss based on our equity. For this example I choosed a 2% risk .That means if our account has 100.000 eur, it will automatically close the trade if we lose 2.000.
We dont use a take profit level.
In this example also we use a 100.000 capital account, risking 5% on each trade, but since its underleveraged, we only use 5000 of that ammount on every trade. With leveraged it can be achieved better profits and of course at the same time we will encounter bigger losses.
The comission applied is 5$ and a slippage of 5 points aswell added.
For any questions or suggestions regarding the script , please let me know.
Simple Moving Average CrossThe script uses 3 simple moving averages that you can define (SMA Top, SMA Mid, SMA Long).
Once the SMA Top is above the SMA Mid and the SMA Mid is above the SMA Top a long position is entered.
Once the SMA Top is below the SMA Mid and the SMA Mid is below the SMA Top a short position is entered.
You may define how long before these positions are entered by adjusting the bars in the Inputs section.
A setting of 0 will enter a position as soon as the conditions are met,
whereas a setting of 5 will wait 5 bars after the conditions are met before entering the positions.
SMA StrategyIn this strategy, I took advantage of two different sma intersections for buying and selling points. You can use the intersection of 2 sma values for buying and 2 separate sma intersection for selling.
The main purpose of this strategy is to calculate the rate of return of the indicator belonging to this system. You can access the indicator version from this link and set an alarm.
