Much was made of the recent rivalry between AMD and Intel, the CHIP ware was thought to be edged by AMD on Product. Price, Development and customer acquisition but what Intel has that no one else can challenge is a strong balance sheet and very reasonable P/E ratio. As investors become more caution elevated P/E's no longer attract investment unless growth is meteoric.
