The Brent Oil contract is based on the North Sea's light sweet crude, which serves as an International Benchmarking degree, and is also traded as a differential to the light sweet crude oil contract. Brent is refined in northwestern Europe, but notable volumes move to the Gulf and the East Coast of the USA and to the Mediterranean. CFDs on Brent Oil futures are expressed in US dollars per barrel (1 CFD contract includes 1 barrel of oil, 1 lot includes 1000 barrels of oil). 1 barrel has a volume of 158,988 liters. The Brent oil barrel for May delivery opened the session on Wednesday (07) down 0.85% on the Intercontinental Exchange Futures (ICE) London, priced at $ 65.23. Earlier, the barrel was down 0.62%, traded at $ 65.38.

In the session of Tuesday (06), oil prices ended up high. The price of a barrel of WTI-type oil closed a slight rise of 0.04 percent, priced at $ 62.60, on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).

Brent-type barrel closed up 0.38%, traded at $ 65.79 at the ICE Exchange in London.
