The US Bureau of Labor Statistics announced on Thursday that the headline Producer Price Index (PPI) increased by 0.4% in November, with the annual rate climbing from 2.6% in October to 3% during the same period.

Meanwhile, the core PPI rose by 0.2% in November on a monthly basis and stood at 3.4% year-over-year, surpassing expectations. This suggests that efforts to bring inflation down to the 2% target have encountered a pause in progress.
