Gold price recovers, will it break the sideway price zone?

⚠️Gold prices remained flat late in the North American session, constrained by the rebound in the US Dollar Index (DXY), which initially dropped to a low of 104.18 before recovering. The recovery was driven by reports from the White House indicating that President Donald Trump would announce new automobile tariffs around 22:00 GMT. At the time of writing, XAU/USD is trading at $3,019, showing little change.

Despite headlines from The Wall Street Journal suggesting that Trump is considering introducing limited tariff measures, including automotive tariffs, bullion traders struggled to gain momentum. Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index (DXY), which measures the Greenback's performance against a basket of six major currencies, has climbed 0.32% to 104.55.

⚠️ The buying force wants to break the price zone of 3030. The resistance is weakening, the uptrend may approach higher resistance zones to sweep liquidity this week: 3040, 3057
