Relative Strength/Weakness ArrowsHello everyone,
This Script is designed to show relative strength or relative weakness. It takes the stock your looking at and compares it to the sector it is in and to SPY. It evaluates strength or weakness on every candle. In this specific script it is only designed for the communications sector(XLC), so all the names I have inputted into the script fall within XLC. It works for all timeframes. It really helps me stay in trades longer as even though stock might be consolidating it can still be weak, making me more confident in holding. Each green arrow shows that the stock is relatively strong compared to SPY and its SECTOR, in this case, XLC. Each red arrow means that the stock is relatively weak to the market and its sector. When there are no arrows on the candles, then the stock is following the market and its sector. Tell me what yall think.
Just add it to your chart, go to any of the stocks within XLC and it will populate arrows based on relative strength and relative weakness. The weakness and strength is based on movement of price using ATR. So if the price of the stock is moving up and so is the sector it will only populate based on how large the move is. So if SPY had ATR of 1 and it moved up .50c that means the stock you're looking at would need to move more than .50c in the same candle if it also had an ATR or 1.
You can add or delete tickers in the code by going to the list of symbols and adding or removing them. Just remember that if you add a stock that doesn't fall within XLC then the arrows wont represent strength/weakness properly.

Relative Strength Index (RSI) + Realtime DivergencesRelative Strength Index (RSI) + Realtime Divergences
This version of the RSI indicator includes the following features:
- Optional divergence lines drawn directly onto the oscillator in realtime.
- Configurable alerts to notify you when divergences occur.
- Configurable lookback periods to fine tune the divergences drawn in order to suit different trading styles and timeframes.
- Background colouring option to indicate when the RSI oscillator has crossed above or below its centerline.
- Alternate timeframe feature allows you to configure the oscillator to use data from a different timeframe than the chart it is loaded on.
- Fadeout oscillator feature will fade out all but the most recent history, leaving your chart free of visual noise.
- Flip oscillator feature can be used with the Tradingview 'Flip chart' feature (Alt+i) in order to flip both the chart and the oscillator, too. This feature is to help traders manually spot divergences that may have a strong natural bias in one direction.
- Optional centerline and range bands.
- Various optional moving average types, bollinger bands etc.
This indicator adds additional features onto the standard RSI whose core calculations remain unchanged. Namely, the configurable option to automatically, quickly and clearly draw divergence lines onto the oscillator for you as they occur in realtime. It also has the addition of unique alerts, so you can be notified when divergences occur without spending all day watching the charts. Furthermore, this version of the RSI comes with configurable lookback periods, which can be configured in order to adjust the sensitivity of the divergences, in order to suit shorter or higher timeframe trading approaches.
What is the Relative Strength Index ( RSI )?
Investopedia describes the Relative Strength Index as follows:
“The relative strength index (RSI) is a momentum indicator used in technical analysis. RSI measures the speed and magnitude of a security's recent price changes to evaluate overvalued or undervalued conditions in the price of that security. The RSI is displayed as an oscillator (a line graph) on a scale of zero to 100. The indicator was developed by J. Welles Wilder Jr. and introduced in his seminal 1978 book, New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems.
The RSI can do more than point to overbought and oversold securities. It can also indicate securities that may be primed for a trend reversal or corrective pullback in price. It can signal when to buy and sell. Traditionally, an RSI reading of 70 or above indicates an overbought situation. A reading of 30 or below indicates an oversold condition.”
The RSI is also commonly used to spot divergences.
You can read more about the RSI and its calculations here
What are divergences?
Divergence is when the price of an asset is moving in the opposite direction of a technical indicator, such as an oscillator, or is moving contrary to other data. Divergence warns that the current price trend may be weakening, and in some cases may lead to the price changing direction.
There are 4 main types of divergence, which are split into 2 categories;
regular divergences and hidden divergences. Regular divergences indicate possible trend reversals, and hidden divergences indicate possible trend continuation.
Regular bullish divergence: An indication of a potential trend reversal, from the current downtrend, to an uptrend.
Regular bearish divergence: An indication of a potential trend reversal, from the current uptrend, to a downtrend.
Hidden bullish divergence: An indication of a potential uptrend continuation.
Hidden bearish divergence: An indication of a potential downtrend continuation.
How do traders use divergences in their trading?
A divergence is considered a leading indicator in technical analysis , meaning it has the ability to indicate a potential price move in the short term future.
Hidden bullish and hidden bearish divergences, which indicate a potential continuation of the current trend are sometimes considered a good place for traders to begin, since trend continuation occurs more frequently than reversals, or trend changes.
When trading regular bullish divergences and regular bearish divergences, which are indications of a trend reversal, the probability of it doing so may increase when these occur at a strong support or resistance level . A common mistake new traders make is to get into a regular divergence trade too early, assuming it will immediately reverse, but these can continue to form for some time before the trend eventually changes, by using forms of support or resistance as an added confluence, such as when price reaches a moving average, the success rate when trading these patterns may increase.
Typically, traders will manually draw lines across the swing highs and swing lows of both the price chart and the oscillator to see whether they appear to present a divergence, this indicator will draw them for you, quickly and clearly, and can notify you when they occur.
Setting alerts.
With this indicator you can set alerts to notify you when any/all of the above types of divergences occur, on any chart timeframe you choose.
Configurable pivot periods.
You can adjust the default pivot periods to suit your prefered trading style and timeframe. If you like to trade a shorter time frame, lowering the default lookback values will make the divergences drawn more sensitive to short term price action.

Relative Bi-Directional Volatility RangeThe basic math behind this Indicator is very similar to the math behind the Relative Strength Index without using a standard deviation as used for the Relative Volatility Index. The Volatility Range is calculated by utilizing the highs and lows. However not in the same way as in the Relative Volatility Index. This approach leads to different values, but the overall result clearly reveals the intrinsic Volatility of the chart, so the user can be aware, when something fundamentally is going on behind the scenes. If the Volatility rises on positive and negative range (-100 to 100) it implies that something fundamental is changing.
An advantage of using this kind of calculation is the possibility of separating the data into positive (buy pressure) and negative (sell pressure) components. The bi-directional character shows a slightly overhang in one of the directions, which can be used to detect a trend. A Moving Average of the users choice shell smoothen the overhang of the Relative Bi-Directional Volatility and show a trend direction. Similar to the math of the Relative Strength Index as standard a Relative Moving Average is preferred. If the Moving Average is in the positive range (0 to 100) it indicates a bullish trend, else if the Moving Average is in the negative range (0 to -100) it indicates a bearish trend. External Indicators can use a provided Trend Shift Signal which switches from 0 to 1, if the trend becomes bullish or from 0 to -1, if the trend becomes bearish.
The user should know, that in this Indicator the starting point of the Moving Averages always begins at the first bar, because the starting progress is approximated appropriately. Most Moving Averages require a minimum number of bars to be calculated, which is chosen with the Moving Average Length. In this cases the length used will be automatically reduced in the background until the number of bars is sufficient to match the chosen length. So if data history is very short, the Indicator can be used never the less as good as possible.
It is feasible to switch the Indicator on a higher timeframe, while staying in a lower timeframe on the chart. This can be useful for making the indication cleaner, if the Moving Average is to choppy and shows too many false signals. On the other hand the benefit of a higher timeframe (or a higher Moving Average Length) is paid with higher latency of the signaling. So the user has to decide what the best setting in his case is.
This Indicator can be used with all kinds of charts. Even charts with percentage or negative values should work fine.
Strength of Divergence Across Multiple IndicatorsOverview:
One-stop shop for all your divergence needs, including:
(1) A single metric for divergence strength across multiple indicators.
(2) Labels that make it easy to spot where the truly strong divergence is by showing the overall divergence strength value along with the number of divergent indicators. Hovering over the label shows a breakdown of each divergent indicator and its individual divergence strength value.
(3) Fully customizable, including inputs for pivot lengths, divergence types, and weights for every component of the divergence strength calculation. This allows you to quickly and easily optimize the output for any chart. Don't worry, the default settings will have you covered if you're not interested in what's going on under the hood.
The Divergence Strength Calculation:
The total divergence strength value is the sum of the divergence strengths of all indicators for which divergence was detected at a given bar. Each indicator's individual divergence strength is comprised of two basic components: (1) |ΔPrice| - the magnitude of the change in price over the divergence period (pivot-to-pivot), and (2) |ΔIndicator| - the magnitude of the change in indicator value over the divergence period.
Because different indicators' scales and volatility can vary greatly, the Δ values are expressed in terms of standard deviation to ensure that the values are meaningful and equitable across all indicators and assets/instruments/currency pairs, etc:
|ΔIndicator| = |indicator_value_1 - indicator_value_2| / 2 * StDev(indicator_series,100)
Calculation Weights:
All components of the calculation are weighted and can be modified on the Inputs page in settings (weights are simply multipliers). For example, if you think hidden divergence should carry less weight than regular divergence, you can assign it a lesser weight. Or if you think RSI divergence is worth more than OBV divergence, you can adjust their weights accordingly. List of weights:
Regular divergence weight - default = 1
Hidden divergence weight - default = 1
ΔPrice weight - default = 0.5 (multiplied by the ΔPrice component)
ΔIndicator weight - default = 1.5 (multiplied by the ΔIndicator component)
RSI weight - default = 1.1
OBV weight - default = 0.8
MACD weight - default = 0.9
STOCH weight - default = 0.9
Development for additional indicators is ongoing, as is research into the optimal weight configuration(s).
Other Inputs:
Pivot lengths - specify the number of bars before and after each pivot high/low to consider it a valid candidate for divergence.
Lookback bars and Lookback pivots - specify the number of bars or the number of pivots to look back across.
Price sources - specify separate price sources for bullish and bearish divergence
Display settings - specify how lines and labels should display, including which divergence strength values should show the largest labels. Include/exclude specific divergence types and indicators.
Please report any bugs, or let me know if you have any enhancement suggestions or requests for additional indicators.

[GTH] Relative Strength, SectorsDisplays the Relative Strength (RS) of a symbol in relation to some common sector ETFs, SPX and NDX (select from drop-down list). This is done by dividing the symbol's price by the chosen sector ETF's price.
You can also select a symbol of your choice to compare against.
Interpretation:
RS line ascending: symbol performs stronger than the sector ETF.
RS line decending: symbol performs weaker than the sector ETF.
In case of error reports: please be specfic. Thanks.
QG-Relative Strength Rank MTF DSL
Relative strength rank is a momentum indicator based on combination of short and long term strength combined with ATR to adjust for current volatility.
The Multi timeframe version long with signals only above or below +1 and -1 provide quite reliable signals and entries for pullback levels.
The RSR signal has been smoothed with EMA.
Candle Strength IndicatorThe candle strength indicator depicts the average strength of the price action by evaluating bullish vs bearish candles.
The scale is relative to price fluctuation and the size of the candles for the particular ticker / market, so there are no significant levels.
A cross on the zero line would generally indicate a change in trend / sentiment.
This indicator may be useful as a filter for entries and use in confluence with other indicators.
Multi Exchange Relative Volume - FOREXHello traders! This is my first script that I will publish here. This script calculates the relative volume based on the average volume at that time of the day across different brokers.
Double RSI FilterI've seen several youtubers using 2 RSI's on top of one another to filter trades for their strategies. I figured I would just code it up as an all-in-one indicator for people who have the basic package. This way they have an extra slot for another indicator if they need one and also for convenience.
Longs only when RSI 1 is above RSI 2 and shorts only when opposite. The arrows show where crosses of the RSI's occur.
Let me know if there is something else like this where it would just be very convenient to have 2 indicators on one window or other such things and I'll see if I can do something for you guys in my spare time. I'm just an amateur coder, but learning as I do more of these for people.
Thank you!
Hope this helps someone! :)
Stochastic RSI HeatmapStochastic RSI presented as a heatmap starting from the oversold (20) / overbought (80) levels respectively. The more oversold / overbought the price, the more intense the color (blue / fuchsia).

Relative slopeRelative slope metric
Description:
I was in need to create a simple, naive and elegant metric that was able to tell how strong is the trend in a given rolling window. While abstaining from using more complicated and arguably more precise approaches, I’ve decided to use Linearly Weighted Linear Regression slope for this goal. Outright values are useful, but the problem was that I wasn’t able to use it in comparative analysis, i.e between different assets & different resolutions & different window sizes, because obviously the outputs are scale-variant.
Here is the asset-agnostic, resolution-agnostic and window size agnostic version of the metric.
I made it asset agnostic & resolution agnostic by including spread information to the formula. In our case it's weighted stdev over differenced data (otherwise we contaminate the spread with the trend info). And I made it window size agnostic by adding a non-linear relation of length to the output, so finally it will be aprox in (-1, 1) interval, by taking square root of length, nothing fancy. All these / 2 and * 2 in unexpected places all around the formula help us to return the data to it’s natural scale while keeping the transformations in place.

Relative PerformanceThis indicator allows to compare relative performance of two indices or securities. It is the update of the previous version rewritten in Pine Script 5 version.
Screener for 40+ instrumentsAs you probably know in TradingView there is a limit of 40 instruments in one custom screener.
I created a script that will allow you to scan more symbols.
The idea of it is pretty simple. You have to add a screener a few times on your screen with a different set of symbols. Then select column width (as % of your chart width) and # of the screener right to left.
Script will plot #1 screener next to the right border. For #2 and all next tables, the script will compute the needed offset and will draw it on the left. This way it will look like one table and not a few separate indicators.
I created a script with an RSI screener, but you can create more complicated examples with it.
Off course, that's not a silver bullet solution but might work for some of you.

Please remember that past performance may not be indicative of future results.
Due to various factors, including changing market conditions, the strategy may no longer perform as well as in historical backtesting.
This post and the script don’t provide any financial advice.
Multi-Timeframe RSI GridThe relative strength index (RSI) is a momentum indicator that measures the magnitude of recent price changes to evaluate overbought or oversold conditions. The RSI is normally displayed as an oscillator separately from price and can have a reading from 0 to 100. This indicator displays the current RSI levels at up to 6 timeframes (of your choosing) in a grid. If the RSI levels reach overbought (above 70) or oversold (below 30) conditions, it changes the color to help you see that RSI has reached extreme levels. Note that in TradingView, when the chart is on a higher timeframe, the lower timeframe RSI levels don't calculate properly. If those conditions are met, this indicator will hide those values in the grid. If none of your selected values are available, it hides the table completely. There are configuration options, like:
Position the grid in any corner of the screen
Style customization (color, size)
Customize RSI length
Relative StrengthRelative strength is a calculation of the price trend of a stock or a financial instrument in comparison to another instrument, stock, or industry. It shall be determined by taking the price of one commodity and dividing it by another.
Relative strength is a strategy used for determining value stocks and is used in momentum investing as well. It involves investing in stocks that have done well, in relation to their index or benchmark. For example, a relative strength investor might pick technology companies that have outperformed the Nasdaq Composite Index or large-cap stocks that are lagging against the S&P 500 index(Adjustable in the settings).
This indiator will give you a plot for relative strength between the current pair with another pair (adjustable in the settings), with a plotshape for RSNHBP & RSNH
Features :
1. Relative Strength
2. Double EMA of Relative Strength
3. RSNHBP & RSNH
How to use it :
1. Adjust All the settings parameter
2. For Alerting, Just use any alert function call, it will give you an alert of RSNHBP and RSNH
Relative Moving Average Convergence DivergenceThe normal MACD is formed by the difference of two moving averages. In contrast, the relative MACD is formed by the quotient of two moving averages.
In my opinion, it is only with the Relaticen MACD possible to compare values at different prices.
Relative Strength Volume Adjusted Exponential Moving Avg [CC]The Relative Strength Volume Adjusted Exponential Moving Average was created by Vitali Apirine (Stocks and Commodities Feb 2022 pgs 14-18) and this is very similar of course to the last Relative Strength Exponential Moving Average . It works under the same concept with using overbought and oversold methods to adjust the moving average and with this particular version you will notice that sudden drops or increases won't follow super closely so this can be useful along with the other as a good complementary indicator to use with each other to determine the short and medium term trend and to give good entry and exit points. I have strong buy and sell signals in addition to normal ones so darker colors are strong and lighter colors are normal. Buy when the indicator line turns green and sell when it turns red.
Let me know if there are any other indicators or scripts you would like to see me publish!
RSI Levels, Multi-TimeframeThe relative strength index (RSI) is a momentum indicator that measures the magnitude of recent price changes to evaluate overbought or oversold conditions. RSI is normally displayed as an oscillator separately from price and can have a reading from 0 to 100. This indicator takes the RSI and plots the 30 & 70 levels onto the price chart so you can see when price is going to meet the 30 or 70 levels. The reason the 30 & 70 levels are important is because many traders (and bots) use those as signals to buy (at 30 RSI) or sell (at 70 RSI). Additionally, this indicator allows you to display not just the RSI levels of your currently viewed timeframe on the chart, but also shows the RSI levels of up to 6 different timeframes on the same chart. This allows you to quickly see if multiple RSI levels are aligning across different timelines, which is an even stronger indication that price is going to change direction when it meets those levels on the chart. There are a lot of nice configuration options, like:
Style customization (color, thickness, size)
Labels on the chart so you can tell which plots are the RSI levels
Optionally display the plot as a horizontal line if all you care about is the RSI level right now
Toggle overbought (RSI 70) or oversold (RSI 30) on/off completely
Adaptive Relative Strength (ARS by Premal Parekh)Dear All,
This is my first public script modified to adapt the concept of Mr. Premal Parekh on Adaptive Relative Strength - ARS)
The original Script is developed by modhelius.
I have proved the version as per my requirement and included concept of ARS.
This script will remove the manual calculation task which is required on daily basis to calculate number of sessions from ARS Date.
Hope this script will be helpful.
If yes, do hit like button and share with your friends.

Relative Strength Improved (Premal Parekh ASR Version)This script is improved over the existing script developed by Mr. modhelius
I have added ASR Concept of Mr. Premal Parekh.
This script will remove manual calculation of Trading Days from ASR Date.
Relative Strength ComparisonThis script plots the ratio between a ticker and the selected index. Currently, I have US equities indexes listed + BTC. It's a great way to check for relative strength, determine if absolute highs relative to the ratio are being made, etc.
Additionally, optional comparison of the RSI is included. I was just testing something out but figured I'd leave in here because why not. If you use this, enable the 1.0 line.
Script is a bit slow, will try to optimize eventually.
