Daytrading
ATR and IV Volatility TableThis is a volatility tool designed to get the daily bottom and top values calculated using a daily ATR and IV values.
ATR values can be calculated directly, however for IV I recommend to take the values from external sources for the asset that you want to trade.
Regarding of the usage, I always recommend to go at the end of the previous close day of the candle(with replay function) or beginning of the daily open candle and get the expected values for movements.
For example for 26April for SPX, we have an ATR of 77 points and the close of the candle was 4296.
So based on ATR for 27 April our TOP is going to be 4296 + 77 , while our BOT is going to be 4296-77
At the same time lets assume the IV for today is going to be around 25% -> this is translated to 25 / (sqrt (252)) = 1.57 aprox
So based on IV our TOP is going to be 4296 + 4296 * 0.0157 , while our BOT is going to be 4296 - 4296 * 0.0157
I found out from my calculations that 80-85% of the times these bot and top points act as an amazing support and resistence points for day trading, so I fully recommend you to start including them into your analysis.
If you have any questions let me know !
EMAs Daily ResetThis indicator displays 3 EMAs that recalculate every day.
This is useful for intraday trading by removing the bias of the previous day's ema price. This ensures your EMAs stay near the most current price action.
Note: If your length is larger than the number of bars in the day, your EMAs will not have time to properly catch up in the day.
Clutch AlgoThe Clutch Algo provides reversal signals and trend signals. The indicator can be used for stocks, crypto and forex. It can also be used for day trading and swing trading.
Reversal signals were done by modifying the Bollinger Bands and MACD and combining them in a unique way to find explosive price actions. These have been modified to provide signals at the bottom or top of a trend to catch price reversals and to improve margin of safety on trades. These signals are labeled as “Long” and “Short”.
We also added automatic support and resistance zones to increase the accuracy of the “Long” and “Short” signals. This was done by using historical price action of highs and lows and periods of consolidation where price reversed.
The trend signals, which are labeled as “Bull” and “Bear” signals use a combination of exponential moving averages. These signals can be used as trend continuations.
We also added an exponential moving average cloud to help traders easily visualize trend. This can be used as a guide to help you stay in a trade to maximize profits. It can also be used as a guide to get out of a trade if price breaks out of the cloud. The third use of the cloud can be used as support resistance in between high/low support and resistance zones.
Tips:
- Only take long/short signals when there is a support or resistance zone formed at or near the long/short signal, preferably within 1-3 bars of the support or resistance zone. Signals too far from "Long" or "Short" signals reduces your margin of safety.
- When in a Long or Short position, use support or resistance zones as a stop loss level as price is likely to go against the position.
- When taking a Long/Short or Bull/Bear signal, wait for candles to be completed to get best entry possible.
- Previous support zones can be used as resistance zones and previous resistance zones can be used as support zones.
- The support and resistance (SR) period can be adjusted. Numbers in the SR settings are bars looking back. For example, a setting of 10, looks back 10 bars.
Anna-LysaEspecially useful when using it for stocks in intraday screening for daytrading.
This gives you quick information about the volatility at the moment when you look at the stock.
The current range of the last candles (adjustable) is calculated so that you can stop based on the Vola.
In addition, the daily volume and daily range are calculated in the table and what is left of the average.
So that you can adjust your ideas for the movement in order to take profit. No matter what the timeframe, you can see how the volume compares to that of the previous few candles and thus anticipate the most likely breakout.
Then the most relevant day trading levels ( Premarkets, Lastday high/lows and some Ma´s ) are shown so that you can get a very fast overview of the stock at the moment.
All levels and labels and colors are adjustable or hidden in the settings.
Zeal Trade HelperOnce you have mastered a trading strategy, risk management is the most important aspect of trading that will enable and long and successful trading career. The Zeal Trade Helper is based on Van Tharp's theory of R. It provides an immediate visual trading plan, as well as sizing parameters for trading equity and options (.25 and .50 deltas) based on a number of inputs to help you avoid needing to do quick mental math in the moment of taking a trade.
HOW TO USE
- First, you will need to input your R value. To find your R value, divide your **average green day** by the **average number of trades you take in a day**. Once you have this number, enter it into the "Your R Value" field in the indicator settings.
- The indicator settings then provides you with 5 different setup entries. When you have your watchlist ready for the day, simply go through and choose the specific stock, enter your entry price, stop loss, target, and setup type (build, short, bounce, or reject).
OUTPUTS
**Trading Plan**
The indicator will display a visual trading plan based on the inputs you entered on each individual stock's chart. The trading plan will have a green box and red box to represent your entry, target, and stop loss.
**Risk Parameters**
The indicator will also display text outlining what your risk parameters and sizing should be for the trade based on your R value. You will see 3 different lines: the first line showing the number of shares you can trade, the second line showing the number of option contracts you can trade at .50 delta, and the third line showing the number of option contracts you can trade at .25 delta. For reference, at the money options are .50 deltas. Even if you aren't trading exactly .50 or .25 deltas, these values will still help as a frame of reference in the moment of putting on the trade.
**Note that you can toggle the appearance of either of these outputs by checking/un-checking the boxes next to "Display trading plan" and "Display risk parameters" in the indicator settings.
Examples:
1. "**240 shares with $1.25 risk**" means you can take 240 shares and risk $1.25 on the share's price based on your R value
2. "**4.8 Cons @ .50 delta with $0.62 risk**" means you can take either 4 or 5 at the money option contracts and risk $0.62 **on the option contract's value** based on your R value
3. "**9.8 Cons @ .50 delta with $0.31 risk**" means you can take either 9 or 10 option contracts that have a .25 delta (a bit out of the money) and risk $0.31 **on the option contract's value** based on your R value
Happy Trading!
Day Trade Scalping - Optimal Trade Entrance IndicatorThis script can be used to day trade SPY ( S&P ), Forex Currencies, Stocks, Bitcoin and pretty much anything out there. It was extensively tested trading live on 15minute timeframe with great results, it can be used with other timeframes as well.
Indicators:
- Regular Signals (red/green) – trade signal arrows, includes alerts
- Risky Signals (orange/olive) – trade signal arrows, includes alerts
- Optimal Trade Entrance Area - target at where to enter the trade with minimal risk and maximum profit
As the signals explained, there are regular and risky signals, which are calculated per different algorithms. Based on the test run, risky signals will appear less and be more risky, but usually spot longer bigger runs!
The original idea of the script is to provide the trader with an Optimal Trade Entrance Area to reduce the risk and maximize the profit. After you receive a signal/alert, wait for the price to re-trace to the Optimal Trade Entrance Area line, which will be shown on the chart. If the price does not reverse - it's best to not open a position. (Remember that the best trade is – no trade!).
If you don’t know how to divide up your position - here is an example on how I take profits between the price targets:
- Open position with buying a multiple of x3 contracts
- Sell 1/3 of the position at first price target and move my SL to entry
- Sell 1/3 of the remaining position at a second price target
- Sell the rest of the position at the third price target or scale out slowly if the trend is still strong
Also, keep an eye on the breakouts, especially if they go along the script signals as with breakouts, there is a good potential for a bigger move.
Initial BalanceThis script calculates and draws the initial balance price levels which can be really interesting for intraday activities.
Note: Obviously, you need to wait for the calculation period to finish in order to see your daily levels
The tool includes the following options
Customization of the session used to calculate the initial balance (default 0930-1030)
Show/Hide the calculation period (as a background color)
Show/Hide extra levels (report the IBH-IBL delta above and under the IB area)
Show/Hide intermediate levels (displays 50% price levels in the IB and extra areas)
Show labels (Display levels names as well as their price on corresponding lines)
Levels names:
- IBH (Initial Balance High)
- IBH (Initial Balance Low)
- IBM (Initial Balance Middle)
- IBH x2
- IBL x2
Default colors are green for high levels, red for low levels, and orange for intermediate levels
Extend levels (extends the current levels to left/right/both/none sides of the chart)
MILK (My Intraday Lazy Kit)I made this script to group information considered useful in forex day trading, of course it can be used on crypto or other markets.
First of all, feel free to suggest any improvement/new feature you would consider interesting for such an use. This is not especially a final version and I'm sure other relevant information can be added in this tool.
Current features are the following
An international clock showing time and session status (open/closed) for 5 different cities. You can modify it in parameters.
Drawings of previous days/weeks open/high/low/close prices, which will be often used as supports and resistances zones.
The Clock shows
City
Time (with a bgcolor corresponding to the "period" of the day (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night)
Session status (Cyan when the corresponding session is open, blue when it's closed)
Price levels names are
YTD-H : Yesterday's high
YTD-L : Yesterday's low
YTD-C : Yesterday's close
YTD-O : Yesterday's open
PWH : Previous week high
PWL : Previous week low
PWO : Previous week open
PWC : Previous week close
Levels width and colors can be modified.
You can also enable/disable the clock, and daily or weekly levels in the options panel.
Nothing more to say for now, I mainly integrated information I like to have, but I'll probably add new features in it if I get some.
conditional_returnsThis script attempts to contextualize the instrument's latest return. It asks, "when a return of the same or greater magnitude occurred in the past, in the same direction, what was the following period's return?"
By default, the latest return is used. For example, on a daily chart, that would mean "today's" return. However, you can select any return you want using the "override" input.
The output table shows:
- The latest/override return, as a percentage. This is in the top left, fuchsia cell.
The first three, blue columns, show:
- The count of up and down (or positive and negative) next period returns. This shows you the sample size.
- The percentage of up/down next period returns.
- The average next-period return return, up and down, as percentages.
The next three, green columns show these same statistics, but for all returns--every period in the active date range is used. This data serves as a basis for comparison.
Note that you can select a custom date range with the "start" and "end" inputs. The corresponding area on the chart is shaded light grey, to show which data is used in the computations.
TWP Next Bar Close Countdown█ OVERVIEW
This script displays the time remaining for your charts current timeframe.period or a higher timeframe with the ability to create alerts that ping on the opening of the new bar that you have selected. It can be very easy to get bogged down in the charts when day trading on smaller timeframes and forgetting that it is the wave of longer timeframe traders that are setting the tone. This script was born out of this pitfall that I was noticing in my own trading.
█ CONCEPTS
The script uses a series of functions to get produce the time remaining and texts for the top and bottom rows within the table display.
█ FEATURES
1 — Resolution
• Auto / Manual selection
• There is tooltip explains how the automatic time selection operates (see below)
AUTO_TIMEFRAME_TOOLTIP = "When the Auto option is selected, the timeframe of the indicator is chosen automatically based on the chart timeframe. The Timeframe dropdown is ignored. The automated timeframes are:

█ NOTES
• We have no control over when realtime updates occur. A realtime bar can open, and then no realtime updates can occur until the open of the next realtime bar. The time between updates can vary considerably. For more please check out Pine's execution model and bar states.
• As a reminder, I did make this script for myself so if you find that you are using a 2-hour alert or countdown the formatting for the words may not be succinct as they should be. We will write that loss off to my growing pine skills
█ LIMITATIONS
• You will not be able to retrieve the time from a timeframe smaller than what is currently selected for the chart.
TWP Chart Period Breaks█ OVERVIEW
This script plots historical and one future vertical line at the higher timeframe.period time mark of your choosing along with the ability to create alerts that ping on the opening of the new bar on the timeframe and during the market session that you have selected. This script adds body to the default "session breaks" that Tradingview provides within the chart settings. It can be a hassle visually keeping track of time when trading but particularly when day trading. Timing is so important and I needed some visual assistance aka some guard rails for my mind to operate in, in order to better execute my trades. I hope this helps you too.
█ CONCEPTS
The script takes some simple steps to plot vertical lines onto your chart with some extra goodies to go the extra yard.

Algo Trading (Nifty & BankNifty)What is Algo Trading ( Nifty & Bank Nifty ) Indicator?
There are many 9 to 5 working professionals who have some spare money to invest each month but they can not do active trading because they are busy with their full time job.
So they wish to have an automated system which could take and close trades for them with a proven back-tested strategy, proper money management, ability to trade within particular timings, pre-defined maximum loss they can bear and so on.
This indicator facilities all such needs of working professionals.
How this indicator generates signals?
This indicator generates signals in 3 ways:
(a) Pricing action validated by Jump in Volume
(b) Moving Average Crossovers
(c) Zeta Force Signals as generated by our proprietary formula for Bank Nifty & Nifty
Once a threshold value is crossed, the Buy/Sell signal (LE & SE) appears on the chart and algo keeps track of the current state. Then this state is remembered for the loss or profit the trade is generating and position is closed either when loss crosses the set limit or when profitable trade starts receding.
What are the various features of this indicator?
(a) You can define your session timing i.e. the time period when you want your trades to be taken. For example: between 1000 hrs to 1330 hrs or so on.
(b) You can choose to close all positions by EOD . ( EOD is defined by the user. For example, if you set the session timing between 9:30 to 11:00 am, then indicator will not take any trades outside
this range).
(c) You can define the total loss you can bear during a particular day. For example, if total loss is 5% for the day, the algo stops taking further trades.
(d) You can set up either manual alerts for each event, for example Buy, Sell, Buy Close, Sell Close where you can customize the message you want to display or you can select the 'Any Alert()
function call' option which will generate pop up messages in TradeTron or Algoji friendly format. These signals can be routed to 3rd party platforms for execution. If you have TradeTron or
Algoji Account, you can enter your API key in algo settings, and after that the messages generated will contain your API Key by default.
What are the limitations of this indicator?
You can not make money with any indicator or algo if market is narrow range bound.
For you to make money, there must be a trend or mini-trend. Sometimes, price starts trending for a while and then reverses back. In such cases, multiple Stop Loss Hits might occur.
Can I use this for Option Trading also?
Deep in the money options behave like Futures only. So yes, you can use this algo for Options Trading by buying Deep in the money options.
Can I use this for trading in stocks or any other instrument?
No. The code has been hard-wired for Bank Nifty & Nifty (Indian Indices) only. A different, generic version of this algo is in the pipeline which can be used for Forex or Commodity and Stocks.
EMA Price DistanceEMA Price Distance, EMAPD for short, is a trend following indicator that can help you predict how price is going to move, in respect to your EMA. It can give overbought and oversold signals, as well as ranging market and retracement signals. The indicator consists of three parts, the Difference Line, the Average Line, and the Histograms.
- The blue line is the Difference Line. It is calculated from difference between the close price and the EMA. An increasing Difference Line indicates price moving further away from the EMA.
- The purple line is the Average Line. It is calculated based on the average of the difference Line for a certain lookback period.
- The Histograms are the difference between the Difference Line and the Average Line
Some basic signals:
- The easiest signal to spot is when the Difference Line is further away from the Average Line than normal. This usually signifies a retracement in the near future.
- Another signal is when the histograms are making smaller peaks or troughs, approaching 0. Signifies that price is retracing towards EMA. This can also be seen when the Difference Line is below the Average Line
How to Use:
The first use case is to detect when the market is ranging. This can be seen when both lines near 0 like so:
Another use case, is to use the indicator to signify how strong the current trend is / how likely it is to continue. This is signified by the Difference Line and Average line making higher highs
We can see that as the trend continues, both lines increase in harmony.
EMAPD can also be used to give easy to see signs of retracement or reversal.
Here we can see that the Difference line made a lower high as well as crossed below the Average Line. Whether this is a retracement or reversal usually depends on how the long the trend has occurred. The longer, the more likely of a trend reversal
One of the best use cases is to keep you out of bad trades. This usually happens right before a trend starts, when the market is choppier. This is when you usually get a lot of fake outs and false signals.
Here are 2 examples of where someone trading Supply and Demand would've been kept out of a losing trade.
In the first purple oval, a supply zone is formed. As price re enters the zone, it would be tempting to go long but the EMAPD is creating lower lowers on the histograms, signifying that price is moving closer to its average instead of expanding. We also get the Difference Line to cross under the average line, signifying price is moving closer to the EMA than it has been recently. These signals tell us that price has a good chance to "re group" with the EMA, which it ends up doing.
This also kept us out of the second trade, signified by the second purple oval. Here, we can see the difference line creating lower lows, signaling that price is moving closer to the EMA.
Yusram Mount MaV - Day MaVYüsram Mount HO - Day HO
This indicator shows the comparison between the 7-day fast simple average and the monthly slow average of 5 bars. The red line indicates the monthly green and blue lines the daily average. If the Green-Blue line crosses the red upwards, it is a buy signal and the opposite is a sell signal. As soon as it turns green blue without waiting for the sell signal, a sell signal is created. If you are trading fast, you can consider turning green to blue as an opportunity. In the long run, the red intersection can be interpreted as a Stop point.
I hope it will be useful to everyone.
You can also find the strategy indicator with the same name.
I got the name of this indicator from my daughter's name. The meaning of the name Yüsra means "convenience". I hope this indicator will help you.
Market analysis panel MAP DejaVuTradesThe market analysis dashboard allows you to view multiple markets simultaneously to make a quick and timely decision.
You can add up to 6 markets per panel between Forex, Cryptos, Stocks, Futures, CFDs, Indices, and comparing their current state in any different timeframe in which you are currently, selecting it from its configuration.
Below is the explanation of each column of the panel.

Muqwishi Volumetric CandleIntroduction
Have you ever heard that each candle represents a battle between bulls (buyer) and bears (seller)? If you know the answer, apparently you understand what the price action means. What if I ask you, how much was bloody in each battle between bulls and bears?!. This indicator may give a clear picture of how to identify the candle’s strength by implementing the Standard Deviation on volume and reshape the candle.
The Muqwishi Volumetric Candles indicator works to weigh each candle instantaneously and updates its color level from lightness to darkness based on the rate of the volumetric standard deviation.
Here’s how the idea started with the conceptual design, then improved till achieved to the implemented design of a structured candle.
The conceptual design mentioned for reviewing how the idea started. However, I want you to understand the “implemented design” in which the indicator has been built to address it. As I stated structurally for the implemented design section, wick and border are identified by the user through “Chart Properties” unlike core and body is measured by the indicator.
The candle’s body is ”Dynamic” that colored based on the amount of volume standard deviation in which the low volume standard deviation is a lighter candle’s color and the high volume standard deviation is a darker candle’s color. The core is “Static” color represents zero volume standard deviation which the volume at the average level. In the case where the core is darker than the body means the volume standard deviation is lower than the average volume level, and when the core is lighter than the body mean the volume standard deviation is higher than the average volume level, and when the core’s color has the same body’s color means the volume is in the average level. The image is the best guide to understand the idea.
Rarely seeing a volume standard deviation below -2σ, even though the volume is apparently dead. However, it’s possible to see more than 3.9σ, and mostly it has the same effect as 3.9σ. Personally, any candle above 1.5σ is taking my attention, and more than 2σ I look around seeking for reasons to not take a trade.
§§ Note, if you have misunderstood the standard deviation concept, there are many great sources to understand it such as Wikipedia, YouTube,... etc. In a basic example, How much is your height relative to the height of average people in your city!!?. Similarly, how much is the amount of volume relative to the average volume of a number series of previous bars?!.
Indicator Overview
Before I get into this section, this is NOT meant to be an educational or recommendation. Just showing you how I use this indicator based on an experience.
The chart above has been remarked as an example of how I apply it. Again, it’s a personal preference, and it doesn’t mean this’s an efficient way.
Indicator Setting
➤ Ensure to visualize the indicator to the front for recognition of the candle’s core.

Summarize
■ Users should have a fundamental knowledge of Standard Deviation.
■ The candle’s body is dynamic colored. Got light as low volume standard deviation, and Dark as high volume standard deviation occurred.
■ The Candle’s core is static colored. Represents the average volume which Standard Deviation equals zero.
■ This’s not a trading signal. It works to visualize the level of transactions made per candle.
Final Comments
■ My goal was to achieve the conceptual design, but there’re many obstacles that go beyond the coding ability.

Beacon - Anthony Crudele's IndicatorBeacon uses the current volatility of the market based on your trading time frame to determine support and resistance levels, whether a trend is intact or ready to revert back in the range. One of the most difficult things I went through as a trader was determining whether we are in a trend day or if we are in grind up or grind down mode. I created Beacon to give me a simple look at the market to determine what type of environment we are in. I use Bollinger Bands (3 standard deviation) to determine the volatility cycle. Once the BB make peaks I took my Fibonacci Retracement tool and did a retracement from the peak high of the BB to the peak low. I use 70%, 50% and 30% for my support and resistance levels. I use those levels because I tested pretty much every percent level and those percentages averaged the highest performance on all tick charts and time charts. You can use Beacon on whatever time frame or tick chart you are trading on and it will determine that specific volatility cycle.
