[CP]Pivot Boss Multi Timeframe CPR Inception with MACD and EMAINTRODUCTION:
This indicator combines multi-timeframe CPR bands with MACD Momentum and EMA trend, all projected on the candlestick chart through a novel visualization.
If you have seen my other indicators on TradingView, you would know that I use floor pivots a lot and “Secrets of a Pivot Boss” is my favorite book. While using floor pivots, time and again I have noticed an interesting price behavior,
Trending moves in price typically start from around the Central Pivot Range (CPR). The CPR could be from ANY timeframe. These moves can easily be caught using simple momentum and trend indicators like MACD and EMA crossovers.
Yes, it is that simple. Follow along to understand how to use this indicator.
INDICATOR SETTINGS:
RANGEBOUND MACD AND EMA MARKINGS:
TradingView limits the max number of labels that can be shown on a chart to 500. Therefore, if you go far back enough, you won't see any markings for the MACD or EMA setups. If you are looking to test the efficacy of this indicator in the past, change the start and end dates to your desired timeframe and then select the ‘Mark MACD and EMA Setups in Range?’ option.
MULTI TIMEFRAME CENTRAL PIVOT RANGE:
Here you can select CPRs and their bands from which timeframes are shown on the chart. I will share my favorite settings later in this description.
CPR CONFIGURATION:
Show CPR Labels: CPRs markings can carry labels, so that you don’t confuse between which line is what. Use this setting to toggle them On/Off.
Show Next Time Period Pivots: Check this option if you want to see the CPR of the next time period. This is typically done to figure out the ’Two Day CPR Relationship’ . Read the book, “Secrets of a Pivot Boss”, to understand more.
EMA TREND:
Show EMA on the Chart: EMAs will be plotted on the chart. Standard stuff.
Mark EMA Crossovers on Chart: EMA crossovers will be marked on the chart in diamond shapes. If you are using EMA crossovers, I recommend setting this option to True.
Rest of the EMA settings are fairly obvious.
MACD MOMENTUM:
Projecting MACD parameters directly on the candlesticks is surely going to give you a new perspective about price action and MACD.
Also, in order to better understand the MACD projections on the chart, you can add a standard MACD indicator on the chart with default settings to figure out what my indicator is actually showing you.
Marking MACD Crossovers on Chart: Marks the MACD signal crossovers on the chart. This visualization was a game changer for me.
Show MACD Histogram on Chart: Projects the complete MACD Histogram in a novel fashion (Try it!). You will be able to visually see the ebbs and flow of momentum in the charts.
Mark MACD Histogram Peaks on Chart: Marks only the MACD peaks instead of the complete histogram. Peaks are a great way to enter an ongoing trend and to play an intraday rangebound market.
Rest of the settings are just the standard settings that you will find in a typical MACD indicator.
ALERTS:
Not shown in the settings panel, but I have added alerts for EMA and MACD Crossovers so that you don’t have to sit in front of the charts or constantly check the price all day long.

INDICATOR USAGE EXAMPLES:
This indicator can be used in intraday as well as in higher timeframes.
There are quite a few variations possible, I personally prefer to use the EMA crossovers in intraday (5m) and MACD on Daily timeframes.
This is just a matter of personal preference, some people might prefer using EMAs only or MACD only in all timeframes.
Here are my personal settings for the intraday 5-minute timeframe:
Turn on all the CPR pivots starting from Yearly all the way to Daily. You can turn on 6 hourly and 4 hourly as well if you want.
Hourly CPR is mostly used when the price is in a strong trend and you missed the entry and don’t know when to enter. Price will typically experience pullbacks towards the Hourly CPR, before resuming in the direction of the trend. That is your chance to hop onto the bandwagon.
For Intraday, I keep the Bands off. Just a personal preference here.
You can turn ON the Show CPR Labels , if you want.
Turn ON both the options in the EMA TREND section. You would want to see the EMA crossovers marked on the chart as well as the EMAs themselves, as the distance between the two EMAs will give you an idea about the strength of the trend.
Keep rest of the settings in the EMA section as default (you can change the colors if you wish). I keep the same EMAs as the ones kept in the MACD indicator. I like to keep things simple.
In the MACD MOMENTUM section, turn ON Mark MACD Histogram Peaks on Chart and all the other options turned OFF. Leave the other settings as default. By the way, these are the default settings of the standard MACD Indicator.
You can set up EMA Bullcross and Bearcross alarms if you like.
Before checking out the examples, remember one super simple rule:
SOME OF THE BEST TRENDING MOVES IN THE MARKET, BE IT INTRADAY OR OTHERWISE, ORIGINATE IN THE VICINITY OF A LARGER TIMEFRAME PIVOT/CPR.
Look for price settling above/below a pivot, and then a move away from the pivot in any direction is typically a trending move.
You can use hourly pivots or MACD Histogram peaks marked on the chart to enter an existing trend, or add to your positions.
Let’s have a look at a few recent intraday examples from the Crypto, Indian, and US equity markets.
I have added my comments in the charts to make you easily understand what is going on.
Understand that both, moving average crossover and MACD, will give out a lot of signals (chop) every day. But almost 70% of them are going to be fake signals. It is the signals that you get when the price is near a Pivot, that tend to convert into gorgeous trending moves that last.

Some important points for using this indicator in higher timeframes:
For higher timeframes, my personal preference is to go with the MACD indicator. I personally find MACD to be lethal on daily and weekly timeframes, if you know how to use it well.
The default settings of the indicator are the settings I use for both, Daily and Weekly, timeframes. Additionally, I turn off the CPR labels.
In theory large trending moves still have a big probability to start near an important pivot level, however, in larger timeframes, trending moves can start from anywhere. They need not start in the vicinity of any important pivot (but they often do!).
Weekly pivots can act as great pullback levels when the price is in strong momentum, when trading on the daily timeframe.
Quarterly Pivots act as great pullback levels when the price is in strong momentum, when trading on the weekly timeframe.

FINAL WORDS:
Please understand that I have Cherry Picked the examples to showcase the capability of the indicator and its usage.
DO NOT conflate the accuracy of examples with the accuracy of this indicator.
Biggest catch is the fact that this indicator, like every other indicator out there, will have whipsaws. Some I have also marked in the example charts.
You need to come up with your own technique to avoid whipsaws, one technique I have shared here…… big moves typically start near pivots.
Work on avoiding whipsaws and finding you own edge in the markets.

This code marks the potential change of direction based on the input of one timeframe's Ichimoku Tenkan (conversion) line crossing over a higher, longer timeframe's Ichimoku Kijun (base) line.
Feel free to change the inputs if need be and to hide the yellow box. Use Ichimoku rules of Tenkan, Kijun, Lagging Span, and Cloud for Take profit/Stop Losses. It is best to wait 3-5 minutes after the signal to enter to confirm the trend and to confirm if the Lagging Span has broken key levels. I only publish scripts that I use and found good for my trading. Pivots are my favorite indicator. I use daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly pivots levels. multiple pivot zones are very strong levels and I like to watch these levels for possible price action.
But when I include all pivots levels at a time, my charts get too clumsy. To see price action properly, you need a clean chart. And when we trade we want to see only important levels within the price horizon.
To resolve this, I created this script, which shows important levels within my display option. I control the display option with 14 periods ATR and a multiplier to adjust the display levels.
The following chart displays levels within 14 ATR * 0.5 multipliers. As the price progress, it will automatically add levels and delete levels that do not come within this option.
What levels are included?
I have used traditional pivot calculation and included Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly pivots with high and low.
What options are available?
You can replace the yearly timeframe with your desired time frame and can adjust the ATR multiplier to increase or decrease display levels.
Use this in 5m, 15m, or 1H chart or any timeframe below Daily.

Introduction:
Quickly see the quality and strength of a trend based on Directional Movement Index (DMI).
The Average Directional Index (ADX), Minus Directional Indicator (-DI) and Plus Directional Indicator (+DI) represent a group of directional movement indicators that form a trading system developed by Welles Wilder. Although Wilder designed his Directional Movement System with commodities and daily prices in mind, these indicators can also be applied to stocks. Wilder determined directional movement by comparing the difference between two consecutive lows with the difference between their respective highs.
+DI and -DI are derived from smoothed averages of these differences and measure trend direction over time. These two indicators are often collectively referred to as the DMI. ADX is in turn derived from the smoothed averages of the difference between +DI and -DI; it measures the strength of the trend (regardless of direction) over time.
Trade Signals:
-> Green indicates an uptrend i.e. when +DI is above -DI and ADX is greater than 20 - there is more upward pressure than downward pressure in the price;
-> Red indicates a downtrend i.e. when -DI is above +DI and ADX is greater than 20 - there is more downward pressure on the price; and
-> Yellow indicates no strong directional trend and potential for a reversal.

This is my version of their collective works, with amendments primarily to the Squeeze Conditions to more accurately reflect the color coding used by the official TMM Squeeze Pro indicator.
TTM Squeeze Guide
For those unfamiliar with the TTM Squeeze, it is simply a visual way of seeing how Bollinger Bands (standard deviations from a simple moving average ) relate to Keltner Channels ( average true range bands) compared with the momentum of the price action. The concept is that as Bollinger Bands compress within Keltner Channels , price volatility decreases, giving way for a potential explosive price movement up or down.
Differences between the original TTM Squeeze and TTM Squeeze Pro:
-> Both use a 2 standard deviation Bollinger Band ;
-> The original squeeze only used a 1.5 ATR Keltner Channel; and
-> The pro version uses 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 ATR Keltner Channels .
The pro version therefore helps differentiate between levels of squeeze (compression) as the Bollinger Bands moves through the Keltner Channels i.e. the greater the compression, the more potential for explosive moves - less compression means more squeezing.
The Histogram shows price momentum whereas the colored dots (along the zeroline) show where the Bollinger Bands are in relation to the Keltner Channels:
-> Cyan Bars = positive, increasing momentum;
-> Blue Bars = positive, decreasing momentum (indication of a reversal in price direction);
-> Red Bars = negative, increasing momentum;
-> Yellow Bars = negative, decreasing momentum (indication of a reversal in price direction);
-> Orange Dots = High Compression / large squeeze (One or both of the Bollinger Bands is inside the 1st (1.0 ATR) Keltner Channel);
-> Red Dots = Medium Squeeze (One or both of the Bollinger Bands is inside the 2nd (1.5 ATR) Keltner Channel);
-> Black Dots = Low compression / wide squeeze (One or both of the Bollinger Bands is inside the 3rd (2.0 ATR) Keltner Channels );
-> Green Dots = No Squeeze / Squeeze Fired (One or both of the Bollinger Bands is outside of the 3rd (2.0 ATR) Keltner Channel).
Ideal Scenario:
As the ticker enters the squeeze, black dots would warn of the beginning of a low compression squeeze. As the Bollinger bands continue to constrict within the Keltner Channels , red dots would highlight a medium compression. As the price action and momentum continues to compress an orange dot shows warning of high compression. As price action leaves the squeeze, the coloring would reverse e.g. orange to red to black to green. Any compression squeeze is considered fired at the first green dot that appears.
Note: This is an ideal progression of the different types of squeezes, however any type of squeeze (and color sequence) may appear at anytime, therefore the focus is primarily on the green dots after any type of compression.
Entry and Exit Guide:
-> John Carter recommends entering a position after at least 5 black dots or wait for 1st green dot ; and
-> Exit on second blue or yellow bar or, alternatively, remain in the position after confirming a continuing trend through a separate indicator.

HTF Candles & PivotsThis indicator displays HTF candles and pivot points.
The candles are displayed in a box and you can select Open-Close, High-Low or both.
You can show all of the past, or just "today only" or "previous day only".
You can also shift one previous candle to the current one.
The pivot point is the normal one.
There is an option to display CPR (Central pivot range).

RSI & Stoch MultiTimeThis indicator renders a table with 2 rows and 7 columns displaying the values of RSI and Stoch over different time periods. This works best on 1m charts due to a bug with the time periods I haven't yet solved.
Moving Average Multifuntional OscillatorHi there!
This indicator solvs many task at time.
1. Classic AO histogram - shows convergence or divergence of two SMA (you can input you period)
2. Color of histogram - green for bullish, red for bearish, gray for flat. Depends of conditions in "crossboard block" which include:
2.1 SMA1 cross SMA2 (you can turn off SMA1 and SMA2 optionnaly, to have at least SMA3 and SMA4)
2.3 SMA2 cross SMA3 (you can turn off SMA1 and SMA2 optionnaly, to have at least SMA3 and SMA4)
2.4 SMA3 cross SMA4 - required
2.5 Price bar closed cross SMA5 - (you can turn off this parameter optionally)
3.1 MC SMA fast - momentum checker SMA of histogramm (you can input your period)
3.2 MC SMA slow - momentum checker SMA of histogramm (you can input your period)
3.3 If AO > 0, but MC SMA fast< MC SMA slow - orange bg colo r. It warns us about impulse's weakness
4. Extremely "k" ratio - this ratio (you can input) use in condition AO<(MC SMA slow*K) - red bg color . It warns us about extremely convergence of AO's SMA and might be a trend end signal
5. Alerts: it has 3 alert settings. buy, sell, both.
Alert appears when color of histogram not flat and price closed cross over/under SMA Alert (you can input it). It is the best conditions to trade.

Hx MTF Moving AverageThis script provides a quick and easy access to different timeframes of a moving average in one indicator and one tab.
It handles up to 4 different timeframes and the current timeframe if it is different from the preset timeframes.
The moving average is not displayed if the current timeframe is higher than the preset timeframe, as per TradingView recommandations.
Available moving average types: sma , wma , ema , vwma , rma (RSI), hma (Hull) and smma (Smoothed).
The default settings provide an example of commonly used timeframes with associated colors ranked from Hot (shorter, more nervous) to Cold (longer, less nervous) while the current timeframe is displayed in gray.
These settings are just an example and are NOT meant to be used as a trading system! DYOR!
MTF DPO-RSI IndicatorThis indicator uses the principle of taking the RSI of DPO readings across multiple time frames in order to provide trade signals and an overarching view of market conditions to the trader. My hope with creating this indicator was to present more divergence based signals than your typical indicator, while still keeping those signals at a high quality.
In the settings menu, you may specify:
Indicator Timeframe - the chart resolution that is used to calculate values.
Source DPO Length - the number of bars used to calculate the Detrended Price Oscillator value. The DPO value is the source for the RSI calculations.
DPO Hull Smoothing - how much smoothing is applied to the DPO . Smoothing is accomplished by taking a Hull Moving Average of the closing price, and using this to calculate the DPO value.
RSI Length - the number of bars used to calculate the RSI of the DPO value.
Time Multipliers 1 through 6 - use this to define what resolution each plot will represent. A value of 1 will represent the current Indicator Timeframe. A value of 3 will represent 3 times the current Indicator Timeframe, etc.
Show Plot 1 through 6 - toggles the display of plots.
How I trade with this indicator:
A value of under 30 represents an over sold state for that particular plot. A value of over 70 represents an overbought state for that plot.
Identify divergences on a lower timeframe plot which are apparent in overbought or oversold conditions, and confirm the signal with an overbought or oversold condition, or a divergence on a higher timeframe plot. Divergences which begin in oversold or overbought territory and end inside the 30-70 range tend to be more reliable signals, in my experience. Like all indicators, this is best when used in conjunction with other indicators. Trend indicators, such as double EMA's and Supertrend are my favorite pairing, and a stochastic RSI is a good tool to have as well.

Volume Zones Multi-Timeframe OverlayAt its core, this indicator is a variation of my other indicator, Welkin Advanced Volume Overlay (for VSA )
This version is based on the power of multi-timeframe analysis. The basic functionality is simple: Plot lines from the high and low of candles formed during periods of high volume and fill the space between them. The volume levels for deciding what counts as "high volume" are based on standard deviations of the volume's SMA , and the higher the volume , the brighter the zone. i.e., a volume zone set by a volume level that is 4 standard deviations higher than average will be more "filled in" and less transparent than a volume zone from a 2 standard deviation candle.
These zones tend to act as areas of congestion, and the "ceilings" and "floors" of the zones as support and resistance . Overlapping zones tend to indicate strength and are likely to require more effort to get through. The more timeframes that agree with each other, the stronger the zone, ceiling, or floor.
By default, these zones are drawn based on the chart's timeframe and 1 timeframe higher, automatically set based on some "standard" values:
1m -> 5m
5m -> 15m
10m -> 30m
15m -> 60m
30m -> 60m
60m -> 1d
1d -> 1w
Finally, both the base timeframe and the higher timeframe are customizable; this is intended to make it easy to "double" up copies of the indicator to fit even more timeframes on the chart, creating a sort of heatmap for volume price analysis.

Bjorgum MTF MAScope:
Up to 3 MA's can be applied at the users discretion
Choose between 10 different average types including favorites from the Bjorgum series from HEMA to Reversal T3's
Each MA can be independently set
Go Multi-timeframe! Any MA can be set to any timeframe of reference you choose (ex. using 3 different timeframes of higher resolution to your chart reference to establish a multi-time frame trend)
RSI HEATMAP. Use the bar color or the MA color selection toggle to set your color to reference RSI on a gradient. This helps to establish clear visual reference to momentum on top of trend analysis
Assigning RSI bar color to an MA of a higher time frame can allow you to see visual reference of momentum of the greater trend that may be at play.
Example: trying to get short on a 15min while your 1hr and 4hr RSI Heatmap burns deep in oversold.
RSI color can be assigned to the bar color, the MA (1,2 or 3), or both. Alternatively, bar color can be assigned to a more simple rising/ falling MA color and price above/ below the MA for bar color.
ALL MTF FUNCTIONS ARE NON_REPAINTING.
The Idea
The original inspiration behind the script came from an observation of a constant struggle of Pinecoders of both youth or experience to find accurate multi-timeframe indicators that do not repaint, and appear as should on historical bars, while performing reliably in real time. I encourage you to scroll the Pinecoders FAQ on a recent piece explaining the difficulties and caveats of different approaches, but I would like to reference the elimination of the historical bar offset for THIS purpose. MA's are based on closing prices, that is to say they are confirmed and will not change once the bar has closed. There is no need to offset these for historical reference. The purpose of the historical offset is best exemplified, for example, with an intraday strategy involving daily breakouts. Let's entertain going long on a break to a new daily high. We would not know that in real time so we need to reference the previous bars close for BACKTESTING purposes, otherwise we get "lookahead bias". There is no shortage of strategies unintentionally employing this bias out there (I'm sure you have come across them with their unrealistic results).
There is no worry of repainting with the MTF security function included within this script, nor will it offset for something involving lookahead bias. I encourage those that are playing with the code or perhaps writing strategies of their own to borrow the functions within. There is also a function that will return the 10 MA variable selection - yours to keep.
With all that in mind, I wanted a practical script that is easily deployable in everyday trading for the average trader that gives the user a firm grip on their trading steering wheel equipped with the feel of the road. Incorporating several MA's of differing times with the RSI heatmap gives a good visual reference and feel to your trading environment, while offering a level of customization that will fit an individuals personal trading style. The RSI heatmap gradient is per percentage between 30 and 70 and your 2 colors - anything outside of those levels gives you the vibrant bias color
Below I walk through 2 examples of live trades scenarios I made using the mindset the script offers.
The Trade
LONG IZEA
Timeframe: 4hr chart
- 3 Tilson MA's of varying length are deployed at varying intraday time frames
- A bullish pattern in an uptrend offers a possible trade allowing entry from a low risk point from the pattern low
- See the chart for notes and observations using the script
- Notice how the heatmap brightens up as price extends far away from the averages - your risk has elevated for a new position
- Notice the heatmap cool off while price action consolidates sideways
The Trade
SHORT BTCUSDT
Timeframe: 4hr chart
- 3 EMAs are employed - same length (50), with 3 successive timeframe resolutions
- A downtrend is formed with a sharp move to stack the EMAs into layers
- A pull back opportunity presents itself in bearish consolidation
- Notice a Doji star at resistance establishing a swing high as RSI cools off into the EMA dynamic resistance for entry
- An '"equal legs" measured move can be used for a trade target with a stop out above the swing high.
- Again, take note of distance from EMA's, the heatmap in combination with trend development surrounding the MA's
These were just two ideas to show you an example of how to implement some strategy into your trading and to get some interesting use from the indicator. Hope you enjoyed the read and happy trading.

It consists of 10 moving averages none of which is fixed by default, you can change the properties of any MA according to your will.

HTF CandlesThis draws candlesticks from higher time frames on the current chart. I tried to keep the script simple using some newly introduced Pine capabilities.

RSI TableIt prints the RSI values for all timeframes in tabular format.
Gives overall picture of RSI in all timeframes.
We can compare with RSI value of one stock to another ( like comparing its index performance vs stock performance in terms of RSI).
Note: This is designed to work with 5 min timeframe. When switching to higher timeframes then lower timeframe values would be incorrect. Kindly use it for 5 min timeframe or lower.

Multi Supertrend with no-repaint and HTF optionThis indicator has 2 Supertrends to filter the trend.
The Default one uses the same timeframe as chart.
The additional Supertrend is non-repaint type and can run on higher timeframes.
It has an auto-higher timeframe selection option, thanks to LonesomeTheBlue, the original author.
It is accurate on current timeframe also.
MTF Bars Back FunctionDesigning higher timeframe tools is challenging. Particularly when you want to apply the higher timeframe lookback to the viewing timeframe.
Here are the problems you run into when you want to use a higher timeframe input:
The output is a string.
On the daily, weekly, or monthly timeframes, the output of the input.resolution variable is "1D", "1W", and "1M".
The 1 minute, 1 day, 1 week, and 1 month timeframes all have an output of 1. Same for the 2m, 2d, 2w, 2m and so on.
I designed this function to automatically calculate the number of candles back that you would need to go back on the timeframe you're viewing to cover the lookback distance on the higher.
It checks if there's a letter on the end of the string and cuts it off, leaving just the number, then converts it from a string to a number.
From there it converts the viewing timeframe and higher timeframe into minutes, divides the two to determine their relationship to one another, then it multiplies the lookback distance of the higher timeframe with the factor and the output is the higher timeframe lookback distance converted into the equivalent bar count on the lower timeframe.
I tried to write it in a way that would make what the function does clear to coders and non-coders so it can be modified to suit your purpose. My initial use case was to us this as way of determining a lower timeframe offset for lines that were cast based on previous high timeframe bars. You could use it for any kind of MTF indicator where you want to know how many bars back you need on the low timeframe to achieve the higher timeframe equivalent. For example, if you wanted to create a multi-timeframe moving average, you would use the output as the length of the moving average.
I used a tuple output for the purpose of demonstration, but this can be reduced to a single relevant output.
Hope you find it useful. It's nice when you don't have to fight against multiple resolutions.
